It really works. There is no noticeable lag. It's simple to use; simply plug it into a USB port and connect your GameCube controllers. It's great to be able to play with my old controllers again.
This isn't going to work on my computer. I also know how to operate a computer. I'm very disappointed. If you plan on using this device on a computer, you should not buy it. When the switch is in pc mode, no PC game will detect it, and Dolphin won't even look at it. When in Wii U mode, it reads it but displays a message that Dolphin does not support it. Thank you for the deceptive advertising and phony testimonials. AVOID.
I bought this because I thought my official adapter had died (it turned out that all I needed to do was power cycle the switch due to an update). So far, it's working perfectly, and the wire is longer than the official one, making it a little more convenient and allowing you to reach the couch without having to lean forward.
I couldn't get it out because it was so tight, and my mouth got caught in the cable. br>br>As you can see from the photos, my Plug was stuck in the box. I'm not sure if this is a one-time thing, but I now have a broken controller and an ineffective adapter. I'M NOT HAPPY WITH MY RESULTS.
Smash Bros. is one of my favorite games, but I can only play it with a GameCube controller. I flail around like a complete noob if I'm forced to do anything else. That said, I'm not going to pay an arm and a leg to use controllers I've had for 16 years. I only paid $9 on sale for this, and I'm very pleased with it.
This was purchased so that I could play Ultimate on the Switch. If I wanted to do a full hop (which I did by pressing and holding the button for a few seconds), it would input two jumps, putting me in a very vulnerable position in the air. Trying to exit the character selection screen also helped me figure it out. I needed to press and hold the B button for several seconds, which I couldn't manage. Over and over, it would simply hold and release the input. I was aware that this was a low-cost item, and I expected some issues, but not this serious: (I do not recommend it. ).
For Dolphin 5, I required this. 0 and nearly every forum/tutorial I came across stated that this would not work and that the Nintendo version was required. However, it DOES WORK; the only difference is that you can't use rumble and the setup is slightly different. I'm so happy with the price that it almost seems too good to be true.
It's fantastic to be able to play melee with my friends all over the country! It's as simple as plugging it in and turning it on. Also, the shipping was fantastic!.
