Here are some clarifications regarding the support for 5x players on PCEngine

In the United States, the PCEngine is known as the TurboGrafx16 (TG16). While the TG16 is identical to the TG15, it is also larger, black instead of white, and has a different accessory set. The interfaces are different between them, and even controllers are not compatible because of the connectors. It was a long time ago that I ordered this item. What was shipped in the mail was just the Japanese PCEngine version of software that's shown and described as a TurboTap for the TG16. There is no matching black color to the US TG16, and the plugs are different therefore, it is not compatible with the US console in any way. A product that is incorrectly pictured and described. While I was moving houses, I thought I had ordered the wrong item, and I forgot about it. While unpacking and going through my Amazon review list, I noticed that I had never rated this item, even though it was advertised as being exactly what I *TL *BR This is a false advertisement for the wrong item. In the question above, one asks if this item works on PCEngine (the Japanese version) and the seller replies that it does, which effectively means that the seller is misleading their customers. There was a loss of $50. Having a PCEngine lets me know that this device appears to be in good condition and would most likely function fine.
Insofar as this is a review of the item, I can only say that the device appears to be in good condition. It does not have any issues. I am not able to judge customer service since it was so long ago, but after a year, they have not been able to update the images and description. I have given it a 3-star rating, because the device works fine, but I cannot test it due to the fact that it is faulty. I give it one star for shipping, and because the item was misrepresented. Many CD and TG16 games do not feature multiplayer

I find it to be a very useful program. While it seems a little bulky to have an additional piece tethered to the device, if you're planning on playing multiplayer games like Bomberman, then this is a great device!.
