In short, yes. The company wrote on Facebook an hour ago that you can order from their site and get one that is compatible with the TurboTap if you order from them. I've managed to fix three of the older controllers by adding a capacitor and swapping a couple of resistors (R1 and R2 require A needs to be attached to the 74HC157. A bypass cap of 1uF).
The Japanese controller is not included, but it has a special adapter. Due to the lack of a multitap, I do not know if it is compatible

Since this is an off-brand version of a Toys r Us controller, I had some trepidation going in. I had my doubts because of the $30 price mark and only one other review (thanks kind sir/ma'am). Now that I've played a lot of games and tested it out over 5 hours, i have to say that it The included adapter allowed me to play street fighter 2 and final soldier on the PC engine. A d- player who was able to execute special moves with ease It feels pretty good on the pad. I wouldn't give this pad a 10 if the original turbo pad were a 10. Overall it is good, but not as good as the original turbo pad. Trained as a super star soldier and blazing lazers, and played bloody wolf in TG- A 16 and there wasn't a problem with buttons or d-pads This causes a pad to fall out. In terms of cosmetics, it might as well be a carbon copy, except the buttons aren't quite as tall and it's I found the turbo switches to be as intended, and switching between the speeds was not a problem. This is a great buy for the price, and with the PC engine adapter adding to the value, it's well worth the $30. In addition, I did not receive this as a gift or a promotion, and I am utterly baffled by how they even did that. I hope this is helpful.
Although I had high hopes for this controller when it arrived, it did not work properly with the original TurboGrafx controller My collection of 16 consoles includes 16 different systems. On paper, it seemed like a great idea. After trying it with a few games, I couldn't manage to play for more than a minute without the buttons crossing over. You might want to consider purchasing this controller if you are fine with the directional pad acting like the game play buttons and vice versa. For the best results, make sure to get an OEM controller that is original and if you don't want that to happen, spend the extra money. Despite the fact that the original OEM controllers from that era cost an extra $20 to $30 dollars, if you want to play the game and not just look at the credits then definitely invest in one of them. The packaging was very flimsy, in addition to the controller not working, and it looked as though the controller had been used (returned) in the past. It is a waste of time to use this controller if you already own an original TurboGrafx-inspired device The console has 16 buttons.
What I Like The *br- It now works with Turbotap* - It looks almost the same as the original controller* - It works like a charm. It takes an appropriate amount of stiffness for the turbo switches to perform their purposes. Only wish I had a longer cord is that it would have been more accessible. Despite its short length, this cord is strong.
It looks good and feels great, too. I will eventually replace it with an original controller but for now, this will do just fine.
I love this so much, just like the original strong, slecky, and bad a$$! There will be more I order just one thing why did they not put the controller pad logo on the top like the original trubo pab logo and match the colors also how sweet would that have been. In general, it's still a pretty hot day.
It works great as a standalone controller, but when using it on multiple machines you see that it's not quite as versatile Upon tapping, you realizes that it's just not working.
