This is one of the most important aspects of my work. o VMUs. I purchased two of them, as well as one in grey. These were one-of-a-kind pieces of equipment. You could save game data, download VMU icons (all of mine were customized), and download and play mini-games. games. Some games, such as Shenmue and Skies of Arcadia, included content in addition to the main game. Sigh, the era of stellar storage paks has passed us by.
I bought it because I really wanted to play two games that, as far as home consoles go, were only available on the Dreamcast. Sonic Shuffle and Zombie Revenge are two games that I enjoy playing. Specifically, to play the VMU Zombie Revenge games. I've been playing it a lot lately, and the battery has finally died after about a week. My Dreamcast now does not appear to be able to read it. I'm guessing that if the battery dies, the data you've saved on it will be lost until you replace it. That theory has yet to be put to the test. Aside from that, the product arrived on time and in good condition, and I am pleased. When I put in a new battery, if my card is read and my saved data on it is fine, I'm pretty happy with it. When I get the battery replaced, I'll post a response!.

and the coolest VMU I've ever seen. This is my first VMU, and I bought it brand new in the box, so it's also the coolest VMU I'll ever own. I was a GameCube kid, so I didn't get to play the Dreamcast, but I did buy a broken one on eBay and repair it. With it, this was perfect. It saves my game data and allows me to play Chao Adventure! The translucent blue plastic harkens back to a bygone era.

Great little memory card for the Sega Dreamcast; the only issue I had was that the battery in my VMU didn't last very long, but that wasn't a big deal. That was solved by simply purchasing some CR2032 batteries. That isn't worth deducting a star for.
These Dreamcast VMU memory cards are fantastic, and I have a few of them. They're well-designed, and they play Dreamcast games with good graphics. You can even put a Tetris game on one to play on the go. The batteries, on the other hand, aren't expected to last very long. The lack of actual memory is also a major drawback. By inserting a larger memory card into the controller's secondary slot, this problem can be easily solved. Every Dreamcast owner should have this game.
