Questions & Answers
Yes, all VMUs are region-free, though some may require initialization if you switch consoles. In fact, the system will create two separate save files for the same game, one for Japan and one for the United States.
This is extremely beneficial.
It depends on the seller, but the answer is most likely yes.

It's brand new, and it's functional. The B button and the d-button have a slight discoloration. But that's not a big deal. My only issue was a rusted battery screw. I tried to unscrew it, but it just kept spinning without coming out. So I lubricated it, but it still didn't work, and it wasn't until I opened it up that I realized I had loosen the thread that the screw goes into when I first tried to unscrew it. I didn't even use a lot of force to get the job done. If yours is rusted, use WD40 first before attempting to open the battery because the thread has most likely fused. Anyway, I'm going to keep it because the vmu still saves when the battery dies, and a return would be too much trouble. I'm still planning on purchasing a blue one next week. Despite the fact that it was not the distributor's fault, the outcome was disappointing.
This was ordered to serve as a bit of retro nostalgia on my shelf alongside other mementos from my past, and it turned out beautifully. I also have a green Dreamcast controller, which I can use to pair it with if I ever decide to open it. br>br>I'm not sure if the batteries inside work because I wasn't planning on taking it out of the box right now.
Despite its flaws, it's still a good movie. It's a Sega Dreamcast memory card from 1998. Do I need to say anything else? The only issue with the VMUs is their battery life (you can tell if the battery has died on the VMU by plugging it into your controller and turning off the console). *Beeeep*) is small, requires batteries to be replaced from time to time, and only has about 200 blocks, which is sufficient if you only have a few games to save. Aside from that, the VMU is a vintage favorite!.
For a brief moment, seeing the new packaging made me forget that I was never a Sega fan. It's just a regular VMU. The battery is in fact functional. It saves the way it should.
This VMU fulfills all of my requirements. Arrived on time and in good working order. This VMU is exactly what I needed to start playing my secondhand Sega Dreamcast; there isn't much to say other than it works as it should with no issues, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a Sega Dreamcast VMU.
It was most likely brand new, as it arrived in its original packaging. The battery is included, but when I pulled the tab to turn it on, it made a strange noise that scared me. So be on the lookout for that.
I can't emphasize how fantastic that is!.
