The memory card is in good working order and hasn't given me any problems.
I'm pretty sure this memory card isn't region locked, as are the majority of third-party cards.

It shows that all of the memory is available. In the game, there isn't enough room.
In the end, it works great, I'm satisfied with my purchase, and I would recommend it to others. br>br>However, I should point out that Guitar Hero 3: Legends is the only game I've tried it out with so far. I'm not sure if it's because of the game or because of the card, but the save/load times are quite long in LoR.
My experience differed from others in that I started the game (without the memory card inserted), the game wouldn't let me start without it, I inserted the card, and I wasn't prompted to format. It was essentially a "plug and play" situation. I haven't had much time to fully test it out yet, but I will post an update if I run into any problems.
What a clever way to save room! I'm a huge game collector who keeps and plays all physical games from a diverse range of genres. When it comes to the PS2, I've already maxed out six different cards with saves. When I put in a game and have to remember which memory card it's on in order to put it in slot 1 or 2, it's extremely inconvenient. No more, I moved everything, including all subsequent saves from my PS2 games, onto this card, which recognized it right away and even didn't slow down the loading/saving speeds, which was the very least I expected! If you're a casual or die-hard PS2 player, do yourself a favor and read this. Buy this card; it's the best $8 you'll ever spend! It arrived a few days later and will stay with my setup for the rest of my life! Keep in mind that it's only for PS2 games, not one!.
There's no need to be concerned about filling up this memory card because, for the most part, PS2 games have very small save files. A nice replacement or extra memory card for your PS2.
nostalgia is alive and well! Years ago, I misplaced my PS2 memory card, rendering the 30 games I had amassed useless without this inexpensive replacement. And with 16 times the space of the original cards, the possibilities are endless!.
I didn't get the memory card at first, so I returned it and got a replacement right away. The new one does exactly what it says it does, and I would recommend it to others in the future.
Much slower to access than a genuine 8MB Sony memory card, with a black screen for a second or two when launching homebrew apps vs. a genuine 8MB Sony memory card. On a genuine memory card, the app opens instantly, but loading and saving games takes a few seconds longer. br>br>It doesn't have MagicGate, so you can't save games like Kingdom Hearts. Without MagicGate, you won't be able to install FMCB. I decided to keep it despite its slow performance because of its large storage. For apps and game saves that support it, the slot 2 memory card is extremely useful.
