Make a game backup if you haven't already. Make sure you use the ESR disk patcher to fix it. Otherwise, it will not be read; additionally, dvd-ROM-ROM-ROM-ROM-ROM-ROM-ROM-ROM-ROM The letter r is the most commonly used.
A 2 may be used. Make sure the USB drive is plugged into the PS2's top USB port.

I've had a conversation with the seller. He has agreed to send me one once the product is back in stock, as the one I currently have is broken. I'll write a review once I've received the new one and verified that it works. Seller responded quickly. My order was refunded, and I was able to place another one. That's exactly what I did, and it's working perfectly now. So, while it's a bummer that the first one didn't work, I appreciate the speed with which the problem was resolved, as well as the fact that it was resolved. That, in my opinion, is excellent customer service.
I decided to mod my fat PS2 and bought this card after checking model compatibility with FMCB and finding out that my model is compatible. I received the card today and discovered that it is inoperable. The files are on the card, but it will not load in any way.
I honestly believe that any PS2 user should own it because it allows you to hack your system by simply inserting an SD card, turning your PS2 into a powerhouse of things that I can do. You can play downloaded PS2 games with this, and there are other emulators that work with it as well, such as RetroArch, and they keep adding new stuff every so often as well, so in my opinion, this is a must-have for any PS2 user. Oh, and make sure you have a computer and internet access before purchasing this, because you will need to go online to download stuff for this.

I highly recommend this product for your PS2 if you grew up with one and still play it. It has a PS2 emulator, an SNES emulator, a codebreakers cheat tool, and much more. It can play PS2 iso games from a USB or harddrive (recommended for high-demand games like Dbz or Kingdom Hearts), an SNES emulator, and much more. This product meets my expectations, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to play retro games on a budget.
Trying to get a used PS2 slim with a broken laser to work again. When I first tried to use this item, it caused me problems, so I contacted the seller. I had already figured out some of the issues and had new questions, so they responded quickly. The seller responded quickly once more and was extremely helpful. I got it to work for one of its intended uses, but it's a little more complicated than I anticipated, and depending on your knowledge of these things and your intended use of this item, you may need to spend some time figuring it out. I have a little more learning and work to do before I can fully enjoy this item, but I will say you can purchase this item with 10000% confidence that the item will work with I appreciate the excellent customer service.
This card is not to be trusted. To begin with, this card isn't up to the task of reliably booting FMCB; half of the time, the PS2 simply won't recognize it. Second, you can easily create your own FMCB boot by first installing Free Hard Drive Boot on your phat PS2 and then FMCB from there. Please buy a good memory card and install it yourself, or you'll end up with a piece of junk and lose any saves you put on it like I did. Take note of what I've done wrong.
