It's worth noting that some PS2 games require an actual 8 MB memory cartridge to play. This isn't a bad product, and it gives you a lot more room on the ones that do. As an example, here are three games that will not save: The black buccaneer legend, rampage, and the world tour of Garfield lasagna This is most likely due to the fact that these games are older. You won't know until you load them, to tell you the truth. If it doesn't work, it will tell you that there isn't enough space on the memory cartridge. This is only true for games that aren't compatible with standard cartridges. Overall, it's a good buy; just keep the original for the other games.
I tried to learn everything I could about this before purchasing it, and everything I saw indicated that it should have been compatible with my Playstation 2 Slim. It's not the case. I can't seem to get the memory card to load or save games no matter what I do. What a colossal squandering of resources.
This works perfectly, and having one of these eliminates the need for additional or multiple memory cards. It's a great deal, and I have no complaints.
My Grandson discovered an old PS2 and required a Memory Card, which I purchased for him. He's having a lot of fun playing the old games. He inquired if these were the games I used to play as a kid (his term, not mine). SMH I'd buy it again, and it arrived a day ahead of schedule.
It's perfect for the PS2. There haven't been any problems with saves so far. It will not work if you try to make a FMCB with this. I tried with both a phat and a slim system, but I couldn't get FMCB to work.
You'll never again have to stress about who gets which save slot! I wish I'd known about this when I was a kid! This is a must-have for anyone who still plays on the best console of all time. Some users claim that their games won't save to this card, but I haven't had any problems with my large library.
Aside from the obvious large amount of storage space, this card saves/loads game files a little faster than other third-party memory cards I've used in the past. It also has a wider range of game compatibility than the others. The only game I've found that this card won't work with is Suikoden V, as any attempt to save/load from one causes the game to freeze (as far as I'm aware, this game has a problem with almost ALL third-party memory cards!). )br>br>However, the purchase is well worth it!.
Good value for money.
