Sorry, but I've never had any issues with mine. I used to blow on my old cards before using them, so give that a shot. Alternatively, you could try a different slot machine.

This thing has a ridiculous amount of storage capacity. Growing up, I never had more than an 8MB memory card, which was plenty for me. However, I recently made the decision to keep all of my saves in one location, and it has proven to be a lifesaver. It has a switch on the front that allows you to distinguish between the two 128mb storage options, which is useful for keeping two people's saves separate. Would strongly advise anyone who enjoys sports games or simply a wide variety of activities to do so. Given that I've used up this first one, I'd definitely buy again.

has issues being read by my PS2, and PS2 games can take a long time to load/save, but after a long, long process of transferring all of my data to the new card, I've been able to enjoy the physical classics that I still have with no problems.

That's a lot more storage than I had when I was a kid! Those of you who played PS2 back in the day will recall the 8MB memory cards that quickly ran out of space; with this card, I don't even have to consider space! I've been able to play all of my old games without any problems, and I'm loving it!
