Even if it is a special one for Nintendo security screws, there isn't much to write about for a screw driver bit. I took it out of the package and used the large one to loosen the screws on the bottom of my GameCube, which it did successfully. With this item, I was also able to replace the screws without difficulty. It's pretty straightforward. So long as you have a screwdriver with a bit, this should suffice. The only other piece of advice I have is that with most tools designed for small hardware, such as Nintendo security screws, finesse usually wins out over brute strength. Make no attempt to overtorque them. With that said, I wouldn't recommend using these bits with power tools because the chances of rounding out the screw heads are greatly increased.

I bought this to clean and open my SNES, and I ended up spray painting the outer housing a custom color, so I'm glad I have it now. It was simple to use and fit into my standard screwdriver, which accepts these types of bits. br>br>The heads did strip slightly, but this can be avoided by going slowly and making sure the grip is nice and tight as you turn.
Because I began collecting Japanese N64 games and needed to replace the back covers with US ones in order for them to work, that was the only one I really needed. They do, however, accomplish their goals. I was able to easily open my cartridges.
The finish and metal quality are mediocre, but for casual use (e. g. , self- They'll last forever if you use them to replace batteries in old Nintendo game cartridges. They're a good fit for the fasteners, and they're narrow and long enough to fit through the hole.
They're great for dismantling Nintendo products and cleaning the dust that has accumulated over time. To gain more leverage and remove screws, I used a small socket and ratchet.
