The color orange is the favorite of my wife. As my son and I only had two game cube controllers, I bought her two of these instead. You can feel how cheap they are Compared to actual controllers, they are lighter. There is a noticeable difference between how fluid the control stick feels and how stiff the buttons feel. As well as being shorter, the cord is shorter. A particular complaint is the stiffness of the 'L' and 'R' buttons. However, they are supposed to work with analog mechanisms that allow them to measure how far down you press the button, but there is a limited range of function with only 'half' or 'full' presses being recognized by the mechanism. It came off one of the controllers we got (without much use) because the rubber padding on the control stick was missing. On the other hand, sometimes the control stick is unresponsive and it might think you are pressing one way all the time. The device worked fine once I opened it up (at least it has standard screws) for a minute, and it worked fine when I put it back together until it started causing trouble again after a few weeks. It's not a bad controller if you can get it cheap, and it won't ruin your gaming session for the occasional extra player, but don't make it your primary.
I used it with my gamecube and it worked great.
Even so, it was a good price, and I rarely use it anyway, so I won't worry about it pooping out like most of these kinds of controllers tend to do.
You can use it to play a lot of Wii VC or GameCube games, so you should consider purchasing it.
Despite having a controller that is sometimes difficult to use, I love my gamecube a lot. Furthermore, it is very well integrated with the Wii.
It works as it should, and the color is true to the picture. If you need a game controller, this is one to pick!.
