The answer to this question is no. It is a real Commodore 64 (NOT an emulator) that comes with several built-in games that plug and play to your television via the standard white and yellow RCA connectors. The Commodore 64 accepts DB9 controllers (Atari, Sega). Ultimately, the C64, while it is a superb product, will not be able to fulfill that need.
The answer is unknown. It sounds like the chip inside the jacket is one of the original Commodore 64s, so it should be able to work

I'm in love with It's simple to install, just plug it in. Oh my gosh!.
I appreciate your kind words. It is the first generation of the NTS.
Getting to understand some of our older computers and being able to appreciate how much fun you can have with so little memory is a must when living with a computer of the past. The people who enabled us to have this function on our TVs today are to be thanked. You don't have to wait to play a game after it loads.
To celebrate my 43rd birthday, I gave this gift to him "Little boy" used to be my ex. All of these games were played by him when he was a kid and he remembered ALL of them. This was the best gift you could get There were all of the games from the past in there as well. This item was in pristine condition and was delivered earlier than expected. Best seller. You can't go wrong with this one.
A gift purchased as a present.
The product arrived very quickly and was a perfect match to what was I've had no problems with it.
The used price from an Amazon seller was less than half the retail price, and I was not disappointed with the product. RCA connectors, one for audio and one for video, make it easy to connect RCA plugs directly to most TV sets.
The only thing I would have liked is that it had an external joystick port, since I have some sticks that I used with an actual C-64 I used to own a Commodore 64 back in the day, and I have hopes of being able to use it again one day. The code for this one can be cracked open so that another port can be supported, so I may go that route, but it would be best to add the extra from the beginning.
Although this product provides a wonderful look back at early gaming, it is unfortunate that there are no save games.
