There are several gameboys and gameboy players in my collection. I immediately began cleaning them as soon as I opened it. The filthiness of each one took me by surprise. After two or three systems, I had to clean the one up gameboy cleaner. br>A mini 1up card or q-tips can be used to clean it. Using water as a tip NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER They'll wear down the pad faster than it should be. Before using the 1up system cleaner again, make sure the water is completely dry. br>I'm very pleased with 1up and intend to clear the nes.
My GBA SP's contacts were cleaned with it. It worked perfectly, and it was a lot quicker and easier than disassembling the GBA SP just to clean the connector. I like it and plan to purchase another once this one cleans out its last connector, which should be a long time. It was delivered quickly and was exactly what I required.
Perhaps the fit is a little too snug. It had a strong grip on my original Game Boy, but it was nearly impossible to get off my Color and Pocket. To get a good grip on the cartridge and wiggle it loose, I needed to use one of those rubber jar opener pads.
Three swipes with this got all of the games on my wife's Game Boy Advance and other Game Boy systems running, which rubbing alcohol and a q top couldn't.
Some games wouldn't play on the 101 when it was out in the wild. It turned out that all that was dirty were the pins in the cartridge slot, which had to be cleaned. This was accomplished with the help of 1UP's GameBoy Console Cleaner, and the GBA is now like new!.
It's a great idea, but if you want to remove years of corrosion, you'll need to find another way to clean the device.
5 times! I'll definitely order it again to help preserve and keep my games and gameboys in perfect working order!.
I can't stress how important this system is to me. carts for cleaning Up has been putting out a lot of material lately. After experimenting with the NES and SNES carts, as well as the standard 1-player game, I had to check out the Game Boy version of Up Cards. It completely revived my Game Boy Pocket and Super Game Boy, removing so much dirt and grime from the Game Boy pins that I couldn't believe the system had worked for half as long before. Cleaning the cart afterwards was simple and quick, and my system is now working properly.
