Sort of. My old GB was disassembled, the screen and other hardware were removed, and then the components were simply re-keyed. The screen is glued around the edges so you use a hair dryer or rubbing alcohol to loosen it. In the new case, you will need to install it. Most screws do not need to be removed; Take advantage of YouTube by finding a video for that. Installing Windows is easy!! My first gameboy, and then the price tag on one of them is excessive since I bought one first

First time being on a shell swap, but I have seen plenty of videos in YouTube (serious guy is knowledgeable and explains everything btw 100%). In the end, i had no problems after following one of his videos, however I encountered some confusion. Because the original screws for the gameboy weren't fitting, the screws that came with it forced me to use the ones I already had. The set was quite alright. I just wanted to use the original screws. In the end, everything turned out simply and easily. Retromod will be sending me an es screen off retromod! Hopefully the people who want to try it will follow all safety rules and let the ribbon cable do the talking.

Despite the cheaper prices than other aftermarket shells, it feels like plastic is the better choice for replacing. Using only plastic from inside and a small amount of work to get it to close, I have no idea how they fit the best. There was plastic leftover from the molded work. This prevented the button from working properly at the end of trimming. The screen cover looks good, but the print could look better. Try - Used it while eating. Initially, they closed with bolt screws in the original Gameboy color but did not hold.

I love it. ld look good! On the top there is a notice that the file did not close properly. About 80 percent of the screws could not hold up with the load. There is a sense of softness in the buttons.

the case runs smoothly and securely, materials seem quite sturdy, and it can be changed quite easily. There were screwdrivers as well as all the parts of it. In fact, my case did not conform perfectly, it turned out that the plastic could have been bent a little bit if the cable got stuck. An annoyance does not arise with the addition of any distracting gaps.
