I have no problems using my Atari 7800 controller with my Atari 2600

Having the Atari 7800 controller in my house is a great replacement for the Atari 2600 system I have in my house. The game controller handles much better when playing games, and it has a left and right firing button so you can play right-handed or left-handed.
The controller does take some getting used to if you haven't used joysticks like this before, because you can get hand cramps from time to time. Although it's expensive, it's well worth it!.

This is not the best Atari, but it is a classic

Although this controller isn't the most comfortable to play with, it is a classic Atari controller. Since I was a kid, I never missed an original Atari 7800. It was just recently acquired via a used game store and I purchased some extra controllers since it makes use of them and is original to the machine. You must have this controller if you plan to own an Atari 7800 in order to play certain games (e. g. The controller can sometimes be used for Scrapyard Dog, but for the most part a standard 2600 controller will suffice. I thought this controller was really interesting and it was a piece of old fashioned gaming from a different age.

The package I received did not match the description. For the 7800 pro, I got normal ones - It is not the auto fire ones shown in the picture.

The player plays well and it is in great It works for your Atari system and is reasonably priced. It consists of two fire buttons on the side, and a joystick, model 7800 pro line.
