What color is the blue tip of the power adapter?

For use with the Atari 7800, this adapter is available. Although the tip on this pen is black, it works the same as the blue-tipped version.

We are overloaded! Be sure to test the output before you connect it! Despite my best efforts, I could only get a black screen to appear on the TV when using the AtariGuide adapter
3/5

For the 7800, everything is hooked up correctly since I have a 2600 that works fine.

I remembered that I had a digital multimeter, so I went to get it to test the adapter's output A 6 volts and a 4 volt system. There are 86 amps available! That's 4, so there you go. There are 6 volts too many! As long as it has enough amps or more, it does not matter what they are. The last thing I needed was to have my 7800 destroyed! Searching on the Internet found a few forums that suggested the Atari can be powered by up to 15 Volts, but that could damage the internal components and damage the unit. I would not recommend that!.

You did a good job
3/5

I am able to use my 7800 when it is connected. You did a good job. I need to get a new power supply for my 7800 because my original one broke. Yet the wires in this array are just as thin as the original blue ones. A rip is already occurring near the bricks at the back of the vehicle. By using duct tape, the rip is kept from getting any worse. That's at least what it does. Images of it, however, appear thick with do not have a thick exterior. They're just as cheap as the originals.

It works really well
5/5

It worked perfectly and the Atari 7800 started right up after I plugged it in. Bought it to revive my 25-year-old Atari 7800. All my favorite old songs are now playing. A Moon Patrol video. The Donkey Kong game. An example of pole position. This frogger. PacMan is called Miss And so on.

It is based on a When I took out my old 7800 system, I cleaned it up and noticed that there was a break in the circuitry of the old power adapter years ago
5/5

Therefore, I thought a new AC power unit would be a good idea. Despite the really high rating, I only have one complaint, and it is a small one, is that the connector is a little snug when plugging it into the console, so it takes a little force to connect to it. Other than that, everything appears to work fine.

Excellent
5/5

I would buy it I love the way it fits and works. In contrast to most aftermarket items, this one is built like an original part and is not cheaply made or light weight.

Is a work
3/5

It hums during the warming up process. I have no problem with it, though. The only place where you can find it is a third-party service. the price is a bit high for what we are getting. During warm-up, it generates a loud hum, but once it gets going it works.

If you have an old plug that is too old, this would be a good replacement
3/5

If your old plug has worn out and is unable to get power from the outlets, this is a nice replacement. Does what it's supposed to do. There's just a little thickness to the connector so it will fit snugly into the Atari connector. It is not necessary to shave it down like some of the other reviews. Take your time and everything should go smoothly.
