How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

New, complete Resident Evil experience - Resident Evil village picks up where Resident Evil 7 left off, and is the eighth major instalment in the flagship Resident Evil series.
Thanks to a next-generation Re engine paired with next-generation console power, shadowy village and its haunting residents will be brought to life with photorealistic graphics.
A first-person action experience that enables players to take on the role of Ethan Winters in order to experience every battle and terrifying pursuit up close.
There are familiar faces in Resident Evil village and new foes as well. Chris Redfield has historically been a hero in the Resident Evil series, but he seems to have sinister intentions in Resident Evil village.
Described as a living, breathing village, the village is more than just a mysterious backdrop for the Horrifying events that unfold in Game of Thrones, The village is a character of its own, with secrets for Ethan to discover

This is a truly masterful follow-up Up to date The visuals in this game are just as impressive as those in Biohazard
5/5

It is very important that you DO NOT rush through this game but rather take your time to notice the hard work that has gone into making this game so beautiful and detailed. A sound follows We recommend wearing headphones while playing a game like this, so that you can hear every creak and groan, every rattling, and every audio and visual cue your characters will make, so that you can fully immerse yourself in the creepy atmosphere In total, playing this game took me about 14 hours, and I explored all of the areas (and got stuck in a few). The time it took for me to complete the game, as recorded by the game itself (which doesn't count deaths/restarts at checkpoints), was about 10 minutes. The restarting or re-starting took five hours It's possible to get lost or try to explore certain areas). As compared to Biohazard, this one takes a bit more time. It took me about 9 minutes to handle Biohazard. A decent amount of exploring and some struggle made for an overall play time of 5 hours. There is no doubt that this is a 10/10 game, and Biohazard too, but I think I would rate Village a bit higher than Biohazard due to its bigger scale and wider range There is less emphasis on the horror element than in Biohazard, but I would say it is still there. This story takes place in a bright and beautiful snow-covered location with an elaborate castle, and the main characters (mostly) get along well Unlike Biohazard, which takes place in a dark, rundown house in a grungy swamp with a psycho farm family, this film utilizes more natural settings. I don't intend to suggest that Village does not offer scares or dark and rundown areas to explore, because it does, but, this has nothing to do with the focus, and I admire the decision. Biohazard is one of my favorite games, however I wouldn't want to play a copy of it, right? It appears to me that Village contains all the same elements as Biohazard, and expands on them greatly at the same time. It is important to note that a big change in inventory management compares to Biohazard and previous, modified versions of RE. A default setting allows you to start with a lot of inventory space, and many special utility items (hand cranks, keys, puzzle items, etc. ) and ingredients for crafting items (herbs, gun powder, etc. ) have their own unlimited inventory space apart I found this game a HUGE improvement over past games where you juggled items between your inventory and storage boxes all the time. I'd like to play some games). The change from the past in terms of the way it's conducted is great and greatly appreciated. To avoid spoilers, I won't say much more, except to say that if you liked Biohazard, you'll love it That's what you need to know. This is something you won't want to miss!.

The presentation was good, but it could have been better
4/5

Playing this game for the first time was an awesome experience. In addition to the castle, with the vampires chasing you around and you not knowing when you can actually fire at them without wasting ammo, I did not like the section at the house with the doll, where there are no weapons to use. My point is that that reminded me too much of Resident Evil 7, which I did not consider Resident Evil at all. This also reminds me of cheap indie horror games, and sections of Silent Hill, which is how I became a total turn-off to it. In spite of this, the rest of the game is really good. Could the crappy stuff be turned into a DLC, or a separate content pack? Whenever I think of replaying then I'm reminded that I need to take care of those parts, and that effectively kills the replayability. It's not about invincible monsters chasing you around, because that is just a horrible thing. "

Capcom, really, the heart of Resident Evil lies in not having invincible monsters behind you. The core of Resident Evil is limited ammo, finding supplies and key items, solving puzzles, and dealing with plenty of monsters along the way. But since the fourth game, there is also an upgrade system that gives players unlimited ammo on Keep track of that formula, and don't lose any of the bosses which start before you know it, and why you're helpless, etc. , let other franchises take care of that or make an extra DLC or separate game (which I will not play). However it does a lot of good things, like bringing back the Magnum and other missing weapons, upgrading the guns correctly (more than once), and having a great deal of combat, as well as reason to replay the game to power up those guns and play harder difficulties. The RE 7 game was so dull I was unable to even watch it, there is so little action. What is It's definitely a step in the right direction. It is also frustrating that in one late section of the game you can't upgrade guns or craft herbs, which means that on higher difficulty levels the game becomes extremely tough. In fact, I had some complaints, which is why it lost one star in my rating, but for the most part, it was amazing. There were parts of the game I liked and parts I didn't, but the latter I don't wish to again since once you have played them once you know how it is going to end. Overall, this is one you should not miss.

The Village is a small city in Chicago
5/5

It is becoming rare and rarer to find a truly amazing single player experience amid an industry full of microtransaction live service garbage. There are few games today that can rival this game as being one of the best for ages and it continues the game franchise for old and new fans alike, something most other companies often struggle with.

I enjoyed the game very much
4/5

I think if you're a fan of this series then you'll find this game interesting and fun. Rather than me reviewing a book, I want to astonish you with how much I enjoy the prequels It's nice buying a game from Amazon and it turns up the day after it is released. The only thing I've had good luck with was pre-school After the release of a film, people begin ordering it and receiving it days or even weeks later. The Xbox Series X version of the game looks stunning. In a sense, the story is similar to that found in Resident Evil 4. As a first-time player, I felt that the game wasn't too challenging in Standard Mode. When I fought the boss at the end, I felt like I was going to die. Despite not getting to fight with barely any ammo like I did in RE 2 remake and RE7, there's still a survival/horror element to the game. I have loved this series since 1996 and I must admit that not all games have been amazing, but this was definitely a fun game and I found the result.
