10/10. Awesome. Arrived on time and in excellent shape. br>I have a genuine copy of the book. The writing under the Nintendo Seal, as well as the Nintendo Copyright on the chip board (visible from the bottom of the cartridge), can be used to determine authenticity. Also, take notice of the neat welding on the circuits on the board; each end is circular. Authentic, high-quality used copy that saves WITH A WORKING CLOCK so you can get Regice. br>I'm more than happy to indulge in my reminiscences.
It's so distressing! Following some comparisons, we discovered that this is a close match— but it's a rip-off! When you shake it, it should rattle. That is not the case. The wording on the label is a little hazy. The E label in particular. The dot on the back is a fraction of the size of the real ones. Make sure the game you're buying is real before you buy it, or you'll have to return it right away!.
Of course, there's the remake, which boasts better graphics, more pokemon, and improved gameplay, but anyone who remembers playing Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald when they first came out will have a blast. Playing through Pokemon Ruby with Gen 3 graphics has that old school charm. One of the biggest advantages of playing the original Ruby is that legendary pokemon aren't shiny locked! So, if you've played gen 3 before gen 6 and 7, and are thinking about picking up Pokemon Ruby, this should be a no-brainer; go get it!.
I wanted to get a GBA game because I missed out on Generation 3 of Pokémon when I was a kid. I saw Pokémon Ruby for sale and was a little concerned when I saw the pictures—I mean, they did hit the right notes in terms of real vs. fake cartridges (imprinted numbers on the label, quadrants on the top left corner in the back of the board), but I wanted to see it in person. I'm very happy with my purchase now that I've received it. This cartridge is of superior quality to what I had anticipated: It was a good deal, it's in good condition, and there's no "dried battery" message—it's as if I bought it when it was first released! I'm glad I'll be able to experience the third generation of Pokémon in a genuine way (on top of being able to obtain Regigigas in a legitimate manner now that the three Regis have been migrated to Diamond/Pearl/Platinum).
I’ve ordered leafgreen, legend of Zelda classic nes series, and’ve ordered this game, ruby
With’ve ordered leafgreen, legend of Z Also, props to the seller for putting a warning in the listing that the internal battery is dry so I could get some batteries ahead of timebr>br>At the time of writing this review, all I need is Pokémon Red and I'll have all of the mainline Pokémon GB/GBC/GBA games, and then I'll work on getting all of the DS games, and when I do, I'll make sure to keep an eye out for any of lollipop3's.
This is more of a complaint about the product than about the seller. I could tell there was a new internal battery installed as advertised because the product arrived on time and in excellent cosmetic condition. For the first few days of play, the game worked flawlessly, and I was even able to connect to other gba games, indicating that the cartridge was genuine. However, about halfway through the game, it froze, forcing me to turn off the computer. My Gameboy read the cartridge perfectly when I turned it on again, but the game wouldn't start. After opening the cartridge and cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol, the game worked again, but all my save data was erased, and when I tried to restart, the game freezes whenever I try to save. It's now pretty much worthless unless I want to spend more money to have it repaired. As I previously stated, this has nothing to do with the seller; I received exactly what I paid for. However, be aware that you are purchasing a game that runs on hardware that has been resold, is collecting dust, and has most likely been neglected for nearly two decades.
When I tried to save the game after about twenty minutes, it said the save had failed and that it was checking backup memory. This had never happened before in any of my previous GBA Pokemon games. This error is found in defective or counterfeit copies, according to a quick google search. Aside from the embarrassment of receiving a possibly counterfeit copy, what's the point of starting a 24-hour story if I can't save my progress?.
Product arrived on time. br>It worked fine, but it had been advertised as having a new battery installed. The battery that came with the product was 3 years old. Despite this, it continues to work. br>br>In addition, when the cartridge was received, it came with an unwanted storage sticker label. br>br>I can't speak for other products, but the Pokemon Ruby I got was 100% genuine and not a knockoff.
