There was a next gen upgrade for the game. raytracing, smooth framerates, global illumination, etc aren't going to fix a flawed Survival fps with some of the worst voice acting in gaming history, god awful textures, a joke storyline, bad character development, and the worst of all of them. Those who control the controls. It plays like a PS2 game and has annoying bugs. Comparing the last two games, the current performance is much worse. It is best to temper your expectations before you go, and don't believe the fanboys that give 5 stars.
