As nervous as I was about buying off brand controllers, I went for it anyways due to Covid and all the enormous price gouging

The disadvantage, however, is that since they have a slight contour they cannot fit into the accessories, but they remain connected to the screen while docked, and they are more comfortable to use! Never had a single issue connecting to the game, and they may even be more durable than the brand name, which often fails to track the joystick, even when they are correctly maintained.

If you need joycons and don't want to fork over the full price, these are a nice alternative. Overall, they perform well. There are no problems with the Playing SSBU, there are some buttons that are a little sharp, but this became less noticeable over time, either due to getting used to them with my thumb, or because the buttons themselves became less sharp over time. When playing some games, I notice some small issues related to the direction input being interpreted slightly wrong by the game. This is not a constant issue, and being a little more deliberate in my direction helps to reduce the issue.

Some have mentioned the drifting issue, which has occurred a few A simple charge of the switch and controllers took care of the problem. The fact that they are not available does not invalidate their purchase.

On the console, the joycons slide on easily, but the strap with the L and R buttons feels as though it's going to break if I don't take it off and put it on again. Because the joy cons won't fit on the controller pad, you will have to hold them in both hands if you want to use them as one controller. There seems to be a significant decrease in battery life (the official average is 20 hours per charge). It is a good buy if you just need a spare controller for when company comes over, but I would not recommend it as a replacement if you use it regularly.
