In order to solve my problem of keeping the dominoes clean when playing on my clean, granite kitchen table, I had to wash them by hand and monitor how dirty the set kept getting. My mind had never even crossed over to the idea of The existence of game mats was a complete surprise to me. My search for this particular one led me to several options. Our needs were met perfectly by this mat. Furthermore, the dominoes stay clean and the noise level is reduced, while the size of the dominoes is consistent. The patio table is not a problem if we want to play our game there. Though it is packaged in a box that is rolled up in its own carrying bag, the mat flattens out quickly. Is easy for us to carry, so we can take it with us on vacation. I am glad I bought it. My table surface is thus saved, and I am able to play comfortably on it. Beautiful and vibrant colors can be seen here as well. I only have one problem I don't know what those texts mean (I believe they are Japanese).

When I received mine in the mail, I was very excited but upon opening the package, there was a very strong plastic odor. I tried shaking it out to reduce the smell, but to no avail.
