Questions & Answers

Two fifteens are made up of how many pieces?

The Mexican Train (the station and the four train engines) can be played with 136 dominos and the included pieces.

Can you tell me the size of the dominoes?

I don't have their exact dimensions in front of me, but they seem to be standard size, or are they a little taller?

What are the size of the tiles?

Despite the standard tile size, these tiles are a lot thinner than standard, which makes them very easy to knock over.

Then, is this the kind of domino rally (set them up, knock them down one after the other) you could use?

The domino pieces could be used for that as well, but they are relatively thin and will need to be placed on a hard, flat surface in order not to fall over.

This set of Double 15 colored pip dominoes made by Cardinal Industries was of poor quality control, damaged, etc
3/5

I made sure to purchase it since its make is I bought my tee shirt from my double-shirt maker I need 9 and a double-double A twelve-piece set of games that my family bought in the late 1990s In the 1990s. The first thing that I want to point out is that This is the first time that Cardinal Industries' quality control has gone astray. The double-inked pentagram is familiar to me I need 9 and a double-double In the middle of the year, 12 sets were purchased The 90's had much better quality and was much more expensive. When I see this, I feel double-depressed The price of the 15 set is a little too low for my taste. However, an Amazon review of paint defects and easily identifiable defects - even with photos posted here on the site - does not satisfy me. Despite the price, I decided to purchase it. There are some dominos that have issues, so I fully expected some to have issues. However, I am disappointed at the level of damage, paint chips, and over all paint contamination making many of them In addition, I would like to mention The product page has a number of photos showing you some of the problems you may encounter. *Remember to keep the receipt! Make sure you get what you paid for! Make sure that all the proper dominoes are in place before you take action. Check that they all are there by laying them out, arranging them, and verifying their order. In the midst of your favorite intense game of dominoes, having an incorrect or incomplete set of cards can cause confusion. You should note There was nothing left to do but finish the set. The set I ordered arrived in a metal tin, some of it was damaged, but the metal tin was mostly intact Take care - we all know how easily they can be dented, etc. You should receive it in good condition if you did. As you can see in the pictures, the "train" hub that was included in my set (see the below attachment) is adequate, but not fancy. My current one is smaller than the other ones I have, and I prefer it this way. - I only got four in the set There are four of them You can see train markers on the tracks. Greetings Cardinal, we have received an email regarding The Mexican Train is a travel agency- The public train can be used by up to eight passengers. It is mandatory for you to provide at least nine I do not think 4 is My opinion is they shouldn't have included them at all if they weren't going to have a complete set. Look at this product if your requirements are for a stand-alone (more robust) train hub (with frills) and 9 markers.

One set of dominoes was defective, the other was not
3/5

An insignificant dent was present on the side of the tin, but was not noticed. The dominoes had deep gashes on one side, which meant you could tell which one they were easily when flipped over. The set was unusable due to the deep cut. I did not find any damage to the outer cardboard box of the Amazon delivery, and the packing seemed sufficient. Because of how the dominos were stacked and secured inside the tin box, the tin could have been damaged during transit due to how heavy it is. However, the dominos appear to have not been damaged because they are sealed inside. Poor quality control from the manufacturer is to blame, according to me. There were four other dominoes with paint splotches on the front/sides that could be easily removed with my fingernail, and two others with dirt streaks on the back that could easily be removed with a damp rag and some cleaning agents. Aside from that, all of the pieces were present (though there are only 4 trains in the game that's supposed to have 8. but I think some brighter colors might make them easier to identify. The game looks like it will be a lot of fun. It was too small for me so I returned it to Amazon and ordered another one instead. In the event that the second set goes well, I will update my review. The second set is as follows No damage to the outer box, no damage to the tin, and the dominoes are well packaged in protective shrink wrap. In the course of opening 25 dominoes, I discovered one with an uneven circular pattern of scratches on the back that rendered the set useless. My second one was returned to me and I ordered a new one. The quality control at the second plant was poor.

The set is definitely a keeper! I would buy it again and again
5/5

Two of these domino sets have been purchased by me. The first set of the 3-set I purchased my first set in 2017 and it has held up well. As for the tile itself or the center piece, it is fine. Cleanliness is easy with Domino, and the colors remain crisp and vibrant even after years of use. In Set 3, we have the following tidbits bought a set as a gift (2021) but was hesitant after seeing reviews about incomplete sets, so I opted to wait a bit and see how the set turns out. That is not the case, I'm happy to inform you! I appreciate the well-packaged tiles and dominos, which are wrapped in plastic so they are visible to confirm the set is complete and remain in the wrapper for the gift recipient to know that the set is new. *One complaint about the new set is that the colors aren't as vibrant as my original set, but you wouldn't know the difference if you weren't looking at them side by side.

A couple notes about the sets in general Please note *br* Despite the fact that I wish the tin container had been more durable, it has held up well Please note *br* With this set, you can play 20 different dominos games. I really like how it has rules and instructions for 20 different Please note *br* The set should come with more trains, as four is not enough for a double-15 Separately, I would have needed to buy more trains. Please note *br* Despite being thin, the center piece is stable and does the job exactly as expected.

The situation could be improved a great deal
3/5

The Cardinal Industries company produced double 12 and double 15 color dot dominoes, which I previously owned. of the things I like about this set is that it comes in a durable metal box rather than the textured "leather look" pasteboard boxes that many domino sets come in. Although there were some things which disappointed me, there were a few positives as well. Firstly, the dominoes I have now are much thinner than what I had in the past. To organize dominoes, it was necessary to purchase wooden domino racks If they did not, they would fall over frequently. Furthermore, approximately a third of the dominoes had paint smudges on them, which is much more disappointing. Players who are serious about dominoes know that if they notice paint smudges or stains on their dominoes -- whether they are face down or in a players rack -- they can see what they value. It took me about two hours with fingernail polish remover to remove the smudges. Their product is not up to the sort of quality I.
