A cardboard gorilla toy that my kiddo had tragically been mauled by giant dogs inspired me to buy this set, as well as a few others. thrilled to get a whole set (she loves Mighty Joe Young and she's 2). I received the toys in a heat-sealed bag and they arrived quickly. We've only played with these for a couple of weeks but the baby gorillas have already worn holes in the paint in multiple areas.
The items are very well made and have a great deal of details. They have rubbed off the paint completely from their hands as well as their faces. The toys commonly used by kids will wear over time, but usually not to this extent so My first impression of the presentation of the baby gorillas is that they're incredibly well-made, however they didn't last very long, and you're not sure if you just got a bad set of them.
It was great to use these as cake toppers! It also means she has more gorilla toys to play with, so it's kind of a win-win! In addition to having to use a lot of twist ties, they were also expensive and not of poor quality. The shipment arrived on schedule and was free of any foul odors. These are excellent and I would order them.
