It certainly ought to. I'm sure I have some AG outtakes that fit the bear I used for this one.

What is the circumference of the hat?

The circumference of the hard hat is 15 inches. It has a squarish/ovoid shape on the inside. 5 inches long by 4 inches wide It fits a standard (12") Vermont Teddy Bear or a Build-A-Bear (it's 2" wide). Bear. I hope this information is useful.

Will a construction helmet fit an 18-inch American girl doll's head?

That is a difficult question to answer. I put it on a 12" Bear as a gift, so I don't know how big it is. Their heads are quite large. I don't know for sure, but I believe it would. Make contact with the seller to see what information they can provide. They ought to be able to provide you with the most appropriate response.

I don't think it's a deal breaker, but I wish the overalls' buttons could be unfastened (there aren't any actual buttonholes). The bib part is stitched to the overall straps). It would've made dressing the bear a lot easier.

It was a perfect fit for the bear that was recommended for it. I hate to say it, but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, It was a cute and fuzzy gift, as I said, and the recipient loved it. I didn't receive any "compensation" for the gift or my review because she was 84, but she seemed to enjoy it.

The outfit was perfect for the bear I bought, though the hat could have been a little wider

We used it as part of the decoration for a diaper cake and then for my nephew's nursery and it was wonderful. I wish the hat had been a little wider so it didn't squish the bear's head, but it was otherwise perfect.

Our build a bear dog is very cute

This was perfect for my son's bear dog build. The hard hat sways a little to one side, but it's secured with a strap to keep it from falling off. It's also quite cute!.
