Kid was on the verge of passing away. This is our second trampoline that we have purchased. The first one, which was not this one, lasted five years. This is intended to be a replacement for the previous. After two years of daily use by one child, the metal frame broke and sheared, puncturing the mat and nearly my child's body. When my child fell next to it, the metal frame sheared off, crumpling the trampoline and puncturing the mat with his leg. I only found out about the metal breakage today. It was about three weeks ago when the accident occurred. It's extremely frightening. We'll check out the warranty to see how strong it is. I'm also concerned about the metal frame's quality. Mats, springs, and other materials usually wear out first, followed by the frame.

The only difference between the 12' and 15' round models is the size; however, this unit can be assembled by one person. Before you start putting the pieces together, make a list of what you have. Make sure you have all of the necessary pole caps, screws, and other hardware. These items are frequently shipped in poor condition, and when I arrive to assemble them, the smaller pieces are frequently missing. This isn't as common on Skywalker's round sizes, but it is fairly common on their squares and rectangles. br>Be aware that Skywalker is a low-cost brand, with small springs, a thin frame, and thin padding. There are certainly some more expensive units on the market that will outlast these, but you get what you pay for. Begin assembling the unit's feet after all of the pieces have been laid out. On this one, there will be 6 feet of snow. When all of the feet are finished, arrange them in a circle with the screw holes on the inside of the frame circle. Alternate between using a frame with a brass buckle and a square notch for a pole and one without. Make a frame by completing these steps all the way around. Go around the inside of the frame and screw it together once it is standing on its own. Before continuing, double-check that every other frame piece has a notch for a tube pole to go vertical to hold the enclosure in place. To make things easier, grab the jumping mat, which should already have the enclosure net attached. Some people believe this, while others do not. If yours arrived already assembled, Try to keep it attached during the next step if at all possible. Place the mat in the frame's center and cover it with the net. Look for the zippered area that leads to the door. Line up the doorway's middle with a frame piece that DOES NOT have a notch for the enclosure's vertical pole. Start counting every 12 locations for the next spring after you've attached a spring to hold it in place there (it's critical to use a pattern or you won't get the mat attached no matter how strong you are). After going around to each of the 12 springs, go to each of the next six springs, then every three, and finally every remaining spring. Attaching the springs is a breeze if you do everything correctly, and a tool is included in the package to assist you. If you don't have the tool, you can pull the others with another spring (it works the same way). You should now have a frame, springs, and mat put together. Now you'll take the padding and position it so that the vertical enclosure poles can pass through the notches in the padding. Once you get to this point, it should be self-explanatory. Wrap the padding in a circle and secure it. I never do this too tightly; instead, I make sure it's snug and resting in place without appearing to be pulling too hard. The enclosure poles must be assembled last. There will be six poles to put together. Each set of six will have a top and bottom. The part with the square head at the bottom should be facing the ground. Locate the tube with the angle and secure it to the bottom pole. You'll notice that the tube with the angle has a place for the top cap (the hole that runs through the front and back of the tube) as well as another hole for the screw. When putting these together, use the screw hole. After you've finished putting the poles together, cover them with foam. If you're not careful, they'll rip you apart. Also, a word of caution. These foam covers won't last for many seasons, so be prepared to buy more in the future. Arrange the enclosed poles on the trampoline in their proper locations. Attach the pole cap to the net as well as the top of the pole as you go around the net. Before attempting to erect any of them, start from the ground and connect all six. Lift up each pole to erect the enclosure netting once they're all finished. You're not quite finished yet, but you're close. Six black plastic caps should now be hammered into place at the bottom of each pole where it connects to the frame to secure the pole from below. The final step is to climb to the top of the frame (on the padding) and tie the straps around the pole caps to remove the slack from the netting. Over time, these may come undone; simply get back up and re-tie them. Your trampoline is now complete, and you're either pleased with the results or wishing you had enlisted the help of a professional to save your marriage! This trampoline is fantastic; it's roomy, and the kids adore the basketball hoop. The basketball hoop is simple to assemble, uses Velcro, and can be taken apart and reassembled by your children. The trampoline comes with easy-to-follow instructions, but you'll need at least two adults to put it together. One adult and two teenaged boys were present in my case! We were able to set it up in about 3 hours. br>br>I highly recommend investing in high-quality stakes that twist into the ground to prevent it from being picked up by strong winds! br>br>If you're looking into trampolines and aren't sure if they'll be worth the money or if they'll be safe for your kids, I highly recommend this trampoline because it has a great enclosure and strong springs (I've never had to replace a spring). My kids have never been hurt while playing on it, and they do so almost every day. br>br>Parents, you will find that using it for yourself is a pleasurable experience. Put your earbuds in and your favorite music on, and jump to your "jams" for a few minutes. It's also a relaxing spot for you and your kids to lie down and gaze up at the stars.
