Questions & Answers
I read reviews on the ease and durability of the glue kit and the sewing kit (string) when deciding which repair kit to buy. I needed something fast and simple, so I went with the glue kit. I didn't want to enlist the assistance of a second person to sew the patch on. My glue patch has made me very happy. It was simple to put on and has held up well in the hot and humid climate of South Florida, with no fraying or issues.
No, the adhesive holds up well.
The mat does not need to be removed.
No, I do not believe that is true.

We had a nearly three-inch Y-shaped Y-shaped Y-shaped Y-shaped a knife cut in the shape of a heart and several smaller holes They used almost all of one square of patch fabric as well as 100% of glue as well as well as well as well as well as well as well as well as% As a result, the product has been docked one star. Only half of the fabric can be covered with glue. The trampoline has been in heavy use for the past two weeks because it is the school holidays. br>I wish there was a way to ensure that the fabric patch arrived completely flat, as the raised ridge in the middle made application much more difficult. br>Edited a few weeks later: It has lost two more stars as the largest patch, which began at one edge, is lifting a little more each day. Since all of the glue has been used up (to the very last drop! ), you can move on to the next step. We'll have to sew it, it appears.
We live in a desert climate with daily temperatures in excess of 100 degrees. The glue has held up well. br>br>This product was extremely simple to use and arrived three days ahead of schedule! This is a product that I would strongly recommend.
That said, keep in mind that this is only for very small holes and that the material must be able to be cut into a circle while still overlapping the hole by 2" all the way around! After ordering this and waiting for it to arrive, our hole grew larger and became too large to use. Sad. It did, however, hold for a few days before busting. Instead, we were given a new mat. Also, as a word of caution, this is obvious in retrospect but not at the time. If there's a small hole, everyone should stop jumping, order a patch, and stay off the tramp until it's fixed!.
They're extremely helpful. I had hoped to see my little girl jumping on her trampoline once more, but that did not happen, and I am very disappointed. I'll give them one star because the patches are large and the bottle of glue is reasonably priced, but the glue did not work for me at all, and I wasted $20.
During a particularly strong windstorm, our backyard trampoline flipped over and a large hole appeared. We were certain it had been dusted, but the kids were so upset that I told them we'd try a patch kit, but I couldn't guarantee it would work. After researching our various options on Amazon, we decided to give this one a try because it seemed to be our best bet and had the best overall review rating. My son and husband applied the patches the next day after it arrived quickly. It's been almost four months, and the patch is still going strong! The best part is that we have another patch and glue left over, so we'll be ready if we need it again:.
Easy to install, but leaves a hardened spot on the trampoline; I can't vouch for the repair's longevity because my trampoline was destroyed in a hurricane about a week after I completed it. fml. I would use this product again if my current trampoline developed a hole; let's just hope that during hurricane season, I follow my wife's advice and break down the trampoline rather than stake it down. Even if it doesn't move, the wind will rip that thing to shreds, but at least you'll know your patch is secure.
Although I went above and beyond with this repair, the glue isn't up to par. I cleaned the mat and let it dry before applying the patches during the coolest part of the day in the shade. On the top and bottom, I used a LOT of glue, and I went overboard around all of the edges. After that, I made our kids wait a full 24 hours (rather than the recommended 12) before using it again. But now it's been two weeks, and both patches have already fallen off. This is a product that I do not recommend.
The patches were simple to apply to my trampoline mat, and the instructions were simple to follow; I applied them late at night when the weather was cooler, so the glue didn't dry too quickly. The patches are still firmly attached to the mat after a month. There was enough patch material left over to cover the holes I needed to patch, plus one square.
