It will fit a 14-foot rope with 72 rings and 7-inch springs. The best way to replace a trampoline mat is to lay it out over the old one while it's still on the trampoline and line up all of the V-shapes. Replace old rings with new ones, alternating sides as you go. It only takes a few minutes.
The trampoline frame size has been designed to be exactly 13ft 6 in by the manufacturers. I'd double-check the measurement by taking it from another location.
Mine has been in my possession for nearly two and a half years and is still in excellent condition. The yellow has faded due to the fact that it was exposed to direct sunlight for the majority of the day (no shade).

The SunguardTM material, which protects stitching from harmful UV rays, was one of the main reasons I chose this mat. I only gave it three stars because the yellow trim began to disintegrate after two months. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the mat's integrity or if it's just a cosmetic issue. In any case, it irritates me as it wears off, and my daughter claims it itches and feels like fiberglass.
These are excellent substitutes. br>We bought it less than two years ago, and it just tore all the way across. There was a lot of playing going on, especially among the kids and dogs. Plus, we're in Arizona, so only staying for two years is fairly normal. br>I'm on the lookout for another. br>*Edit* There is a two-year warranty, so I just filed a claim and will update once I hear back.
This mat had been in my possession for more than two years when I decided to sell it. Then, a few months ago, a tear appeared on the mat and began to spread. I decided to replace it with the same mat I had previously purchased. During this covid emergency, I have two sons who are over 100 pounds and use the trampoline on a daily basis. This mat is something I would recommend to parents of older children! It's well-made and simple to put together.
After reading a few reviews, this appeared to be the best option for a suitable replacement. I laid it out on top of the old mat, unhooked the springs from the old mat on four "sides," and reconnected them to the new mat. Then I repeated the process for every four springs, then every other spring, and finally the rest; it was incredibly simple with the provided tool, and it was rarely required. After I finished, I inspected the mat and noticed a minor flaw in one spot, which I trimmed away because I doubt anyone will notice it and it won't affect the mat's longevity. Overall, this is a fantastic purchase. If necessary, I'll revisit the review in a few months.
This premium mat has only been up for three months and already the stitching around the UV resistant stripe is tearing, as well as some tears in the actual mat. No one stomps on it or throws anything at it. This is a terrible product, and you should not buy it.
Detailed analysis: br>br> For the past 15 years, I've been jumping on trampolines like water. Trampolines are both my physical and emotional outlet now that I'm an adult. Others run, while I leap. This mat was purchased to replace a trampoline frame purchased at Walmart. My issue is that I've gone through MANY replacement mats over the course of my 15 years of trampolining, and I've found this one to be far too soft and stretchy for a new one. It has the feel of a six-month-old phone rather than a brand-new one. When you first get a new trampoline or trampoline mat, you will notice that it has a very tight, sharp, and high bounce to it. This didn't make me feel that way. So far, it's held up admirably, even in the face of snow and sun (because, hello, Chicago weather. . . ) Yes, the yellow is fading, but it's not tearing, so I don't mind.
****UPDATE***
I've added another photo of the mat after 8 months of use. Not only did the yellow fade quickly, but it is now beginning to deteriorate, as if it were rotting. It is exposed to direct sunlight throughout the day and has only begun in one location. However. It won't be long before it's no longer usable. br>br>When we first installed it, the quality appeared to be good. Our yellow trim faded from sunshine yellow to a soft butter yellow in less than 6 weeks, despite the fact that the product claims to be UV protected. I'm not convinced that this "UV protection" will extend the mat's life and that it is no more durable than other options on the market. You can see where the net was covering the yellow edge piece and how it isn't as affected in the photo.
8 years. The kids punctured the old one with a chair, so I had to get a new one. The basic was the first one I had, and the premium was the second. The thickness of the two differs significantly. Both are equally good and last a long time. The premium's yellow reinforcement faded quickly, but its durability remained unchanged. The extra money was well spent on a fantastic product. I also purchased one for our church, which is heavily utilized.
