So I had this delivered to my office so that I could assemble it for my son (not realizing how simple it would be), and then I began playing with it. When the Gator's chompers close and his tail kicks the ball back, it's a lot of fun and a lot of satisfaction. It's so much fun that I keep it in my office (rather than at home with my son as intended) and use it to break up the day and relieve stress (everyone in the office thinks it's adorable, too). The only thing to keep in mind is that a "real golf ball" will not be kicked back by the tail because it is too heavy. So, in the end, I ordered another one so that my son and I could each have one. I'm going to give it a five-star rating!.
The Gator Golf play set offers excellent value for money. It includes a heavy plastic golf club that far surpassed my expectations. It also includes four thick plastic balls that are heavy enough to roll easily on carpet and tough enough to withstand being crushed by my children. The entrance to the gator golfball collector is steep, but once inside, balls are ejected from the gator's back. To return the balls, they are spring-propelled approximately 2 feet into the air. This toy is a big hit with my kids!.
The youngest child opened the box, set it up, and began playing almost immediately. He was enamored with the flamingo golf club and the way the balls would pop out of the gator's back. He couldn't stop laughing and wouldn't let anyone else try it because he wanted to show his mother and father how he got the balls into the gator's mouth. When I told the mom that the club didn't come apart once it was assembled, she said, "No problem, we have boys, so there's a basket for all the swords, light sabers, and other long toys!" It's not a problem! " I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
This toy is a complete waste of money because the bottom of the mouth never stays in place. I wouldn't sell this item if I were Amazon. br>THANK YOU.
The mouthpiece doesn't stay in and doesn't shoot the balls out, so it's useless. It was a waste of money.
The kids like to play gator golf, but they don't like having to reset it after each turn. This would be a fantastic game if it had a self-resetting motorized return. Typically, a parent sits near the gator to reset it so that the children can continue to play.
The package was delivered without the brown shipping box, which made it very obvious what it was. It's a Christmas present, and the recipient was present when it was delivered, so it's a bad situation. It was raining, and the present had not been fully tucked under the overhang, so it was soaked. If it had been in a brown shipping box, the toy would have stayed dry at the very least.
My son was very excited to play with it, but it stopped working the second time we opened the mouth. I attempted to repair it, but it was unsuccessful.
