This football game is fantastic. My daughters and I play football together, and they are both terrible at catching the ball. Consider the Statue of Liberty with both arms raised. and the eyes are shut That's what they're doing when they strike a "catching pose. " They're hoping the ball lands in their hands directly. It usually bounces off the wall and onto the ground when this happens. They are so afraid of projectiles that I had to move them in to 3 feet away and teach them to cradle catch. As we move further away, they are still afraid and return to their statue of liberty/closing of the eyes football catching. Also, if they miss and the ball lands on their head. they cry. However, it was only out of embarrassment. Sadly. I can't stop myself from laughing, which only adds to the situation. It was well worth the money.
This nerf football was a letdown for me. It's too light and slick to be useful. Because of the slick exterior material, the ball is difficult for me to hold and catch. I was hoping for something similar to the old Nerf Turbo footballs with the spiral patterns and more grippy surfaces.
This was fun for my son and me to play catch with. My dog doesn't usually tear apart his toys, but I believe the foam and the way it felt when her teeth sank into it triggered some primal kill instinct, and she tore into it with a ferocity we've never seen before. The ball was shattered into teeny-tiny pieces in a matter of seconds. I bought a new one and kept it out of reach of the dog, but it was discovered on a high shelf by the cat. Our cat is normally docile, but he ripped into this ball like a lion tearing into a gazelle. He took a little longer, but he was still able to complete the task quickly. It was the first time he had acted in such a manner. br>br>Long story short, fantastic ball; however, keep it out of reach of animals. Also, avoid biting it because you never know what might happen.
This is a light-weight foam football that is small in size. It's too light to throw effectively at any distance, and spirals aren't feasible. This is something I would recommend for very young children (under the age of 5) who are only a few feet apart and are not actually playing "football. " If you want to play catch, you'll need to upgrade to something heavier and larger.
Indoors, it's perfect. We've never had better indoor football. Soft and long-lasting material. After a few years of heavy indoor use, our first one began to wear out, so this was a replacement. Unfortunately, I was able to find it for $5 at Meijer after purchasing it for $13 on Amazon.
Brother picked one up at a garage sale and was excited to play with it; however, a dog chewed it up just two days later. So I bought this, and it was brand new and arrived quickly, and it looks and feels just like the old one, which is perfect for small hands.
grip. The color is vibrant and stands out well. It's soft, light, and comfortable to wear. For decades, Nerf footballs have been a favorite among children and parents. With these, there will be no playground mishaps. These same properties, as another reviewer pointed out, make it more difficult to throw a good spiral pass, but we're fine with that tradeoff. Furthermore, the pavement easily abrades the coating, exposing the spongy and absorbent core. The Nerf ball it replaces had deteriorated into a filthy, dripping football. sponge with a unique shape But, at this price, we don't mind. This particular item is fantastic on a sunny day. A big improvement over our old ball was the glow orange that was visible at twilight. Gather in a group!.
Unless you're on steroids, it'll be smaller than a regular football but bigger than an adult hand. Unless your fingers are webbed, the thread imprints make it easy to grip and throw. When thrown correctly, the ball can spiral. Adults, 13-year-olds, and 7-year-olds will have a lot of fun throwing this party. Unless your living room is furnished with bean bags and afghans, it will most likely break something.
