His older sister already has a glove, a bat, and a tee. His husband and I are both baseball fans. It was great to see him join in the fun with his family! But I am not yet ready to spend much money on supplies since my son is only three years old. His interests also change regularly not only because he outgrows things quickly, but because he changes so fast. In light of this, we decided to go with this inexpensive glove from Franklin. We felt so fortunate to find such a great deal and to purchase such a great product! It comes with a baseball glove and a soft ball that is the size of a baseball. There is a slight difference in softness between it and a standard tee For children who are just learning how to throw and catch, this game is a great introduction. If they did go bonk up a bit, the softness of the ball makes it more bearable than a regular Besides the red, white, and blue, another selling point was the combination of these colors. I guess you could say those are my son's favorite colors (so patriotic!). This picture depicts the colors exactly as they appear in it. The bonus of all this is that I found his glove super easy in a pile of gloves at tee ball practice! In my opinion, this ball glove would be best for someone just learning how to play the game. My son's 3 year old body fits well in it, and I expect him to have plenty of use out of it for years. As soon as it gets wet, it becomes soft and squishy. It's a real bonus to have the ball. This is a great purchase if you are thinking about it!.
For my 5-year old son it's the perfect size. The ball fits easily into the net, making it easy for him to catch, and it is soft so there's no danger of someone getting injured.
He can't do it himself or close the mitt, but can catch a ball in it, so he gets a lot of enjoyment out of it. The material is soft, the price is affordable, and the glove is definitely a good first choice.
Even though it is not as soft as I would have liked, it means it is ready to use and toddler friendly right out of the box. Because of the durability and comfort of this glove, I would recommend it. With daily use, the ball will deplete significantly, but it is reasonably priced and you'll get your money's worth out of it. Since my son is only 3 years old, his hand is a bit smaller than the glove's size. The hope is that he'll have to grow into it a little while.
A couple of years ago, I bought a pair of gloves for my three and four year old boys. The glove is a favorite of both boys. is the perfect fit for a 4 year old. It is only because two different gloves were provided that I have a complaint. The red one has blue fingers and blue webbing and the blue one has red fingers and blue Even though it is a minor change, the kids see it as a huge one.
Despite having a real leather finish, this glove is soft enough to be used by a 3 year old to catch & field the ball. It's the perfect ball to throw, as it's not too heavy nor hard like a real ball, but heavy enough to throw with confidence. It's a great set for beginning golfers as it hits off a tee better than plastic balls.
When I present it to my little one he absolutely loves it.
Being an athlete myself, and as he will be turning 2 in August, I wanted to get him started in sports at a young age. The thing he wears and the ball he throws are his favorite things. As he catches it, I roll the foam ball over to his glove or toss it to him as someone helps him. This is a great option for beginning players and is more advanced than whiffle balls and gloves. Here is a miniature version of the real thing that comes as close as you can get!.
