Having one of these for the Fisher-Price pitching machine is better for my 3-year-old. It doesn't go very far or hard and it's perfect for kids that age. It would be optimal to use another type of ball if you desire a ball that comes out with more speed.
The foam is all the way through and coated on the outside.
In terms of looks, I'm not entirely sure what a stand looks like however, if it is something like a batting tee, then I'd like it.

At first glance, these appear to be great, but they aren't. In any case. A softball that my son had had wore out completely after years of use. They were bought for him because he has a soft spot for throwing and catching a ball. A few times a week he does it. It took perhaps three or four days for the color to peel off each ball. There are always little pieces of colored debris on the floor that I pick up. His socks are getting holes too, so he wants to return them. I was so disappointed.
I thought these were compatible with Franklin pitching machines, but they do not.
I was looking for the yellow ball because it was the heaviest and more what I wanted. I didn't like the blue and orange because they were too light. There was also some fraying with the yellow, so it isn't very durable either. As I am only launching the ball, not hitting it with something, I am only throwing it against a reasonably soft surface.
The weight of these gloves makes them essentially useless for reaching out and actually learning how to catch in baseball gloves. This doesn't necessarily reflect the fault of the company, since these are foam as they claim.
Put a ball underneath your stiff shoulder or back and let the weight of your body help to break it up. I have been able to get rid of pain with this product because it is neither too hard nor too soft.
The ball must be of good quality and it must not damage The items have been crushed off the walls and ceiling by my four year old daughter during batting practice in the basement and were still in perfect condition. Keeping it away from a kid mouthing stuff is important. If you don't want your kid eating the outer coating, keep it away from a kid mouthing things.
You won't lose the ball or damage the windows! They are heavy enough to hit a home run, but not too heavy or you break a window. Is perfect for my son and his friends to have a ball game in the backyard.
I liked how soft the material was, but the paint fading was problematic.
