As I'm only 5'4", it extends up to my chest so I would need another blanket to cover up with. It was disappointing to find the sleeping bag to be so thin. We found it to be much thinner than it appeared online. Therefore, we had to use other blankets or mattress pads to cushion the bed. In the event your children become cold, you will also need to have other blankets on hand to cover them.
Weighing 1 lbs, it is made up of 26 pieces. Approximately 6 pounds. A compression bag could be used instead of the bag, but it does not come with one.
Compared to other sleeping bags, this is lighter. If the night is warm, then that is the best time.
