My son had a lot of fun searching for the various items. Some of the white pieces on the rings have broken off, but they were also roughed up at a party by the kids. Those rings were no Wiesel's idea because the white piece acts as a weight, causing the ring to sink. I'm not sure if I'll be able to glue it back on, but I'll give it a shot. For this set, I still believe it is a good buy.
It's a low-cost diving set packaged in a good-looking bag. The diving gems are a bit of a letdown. The torpedoes are fairly weighty, more so than I expected, and fly right to the bottom of the pool, but all of the other diving toys included have a good feel to them and seem like they'll last a long time. br>br>For the money, I can't really complain.
I took these to the water park with a group of middle school students, and they were a big hit. They'd compete to see who could collect the most, and we loved the little rockets because they traveled so far. The rings are sinking and the bars appear to be in good condition. We'll definitely use them again because they lasted a long time.
The kids were playing with their new toy at the pool on the first day, and I noticed one of them had paint marks all over his face and hands. It was the paint/decals on them that caused the problem. It floated away in the water. In the pool, a pool toy's paint/decal came off. Aside from that, they appear to be holding up well, and the kids continue to play with them on a regular basis; just be aware that the first use or two may be a bit messy.
When we received these, I was ecstatic because they appeared to be of excellent quality. They came with a nice bag to transport them in. One of the white weights on one of the rings broke off at the pegs on our second or third trip to the pool. I'm not sure how it happened, but I'm surprised it did, and I see another reviewer experienced the same thing.
They should last a few summers, in my opinion. With regular use, I don't think the rings will last much longer than this summer. With their imaginative play, my little boys knocked the white pieces off, and they no longer work. A little gorilla glue or super glue should keep them in place for a few more pool visits.
We bought these to take to the hotel pool on vacation, and the kids absolutely loved them. Even if they weren't ours, to be honest. They're thick and easy to grab, and even a three-year-old could dive for them. I would definitely buy from them again.
These toys were only good for one swim. At the peg attachments, the rings' plastic weights broke off. br>While they lasted, they were a lot of fun.
