I suppose I should have paid more attention to the descriptions' measurements. Things were a little bigger than I expected, especially the torpedos, but it's not bad. br>The set's worst pieces are the gems and thin plastic pieces. The gems are inexpensive and made of glass. The kids dislike them because they're very light and float around under the water, and they scratch easily on the poolside concrete. I'm not sure how long the plastic pieces (pirate ship and seahorse) will last. It would be better if the discs were flexible and had a weight to them. The small plastic coins are a little thicker than the larger ones. br>The discs are about the same thickness as the pirate ship, but they are made of a softer, more pliable plastic with a heavier weight. They can be thrown like a frisbee, but they don't always sink right away if the weight isn't completely submerged. These are one of the more enjoyable pieces in the set; my only concern is that they have enough weight and are thin enough to potentially injure or even cut someone if/when thrown off course. br>The floaty foam fish have a rubber exterior but a soft, spongy foam interior that will most likely develop mildew over time. They float on the surface, making them less enjoyable than the sinking pieces. br>The fish rings are lighter than expected and feel cheap, but they do the job; the white weight pulls them to the bottom, while the top of the fish floats to keep them upright under water. Squid are hollow and take a long time to sink. They aren't always at the bottom, but they are still entertaining. br>The seaweed is enjoyable to throw because of its weight and the trailing cloth seaweed strands that float in the water. The base is hollow, with small pellet weights stuffed inside. My only concern is that these could eventually develop mildew, but they are made of a reasonably durable, quick-drying material. fabric that is being dried One of our most beloved works. br>The torpedos are smaller than expected when they first arrive, but they're well-balanced and a lot of fun. They're a little sharp at the ends, but no one has been hurt by them yet, with the exception of my son scratching me with them the other day. br>The torpedos and seaweed are unquestionably favorites. The kids have a great time in the pool with the set, so I'm not disappointed with the price. br>There's also a mesh bag for storing everything, which can be used to hang things out to dry. br>The Amazon review form inquires about "inflating," but there is nothing to inflate in this set.
Except for the two Ballonfish, they all sink fairly quickly, which was exactly what I was looking for. The kids, on the other hand, enjoy squirting them with water. My children are seven years old. 6) enjoy putting on their masks and driving down to the store to obtain them. We didn't put the Diving Gems and Toy Coins in the pool (they ended up as bath toys). The Mesh Storage Bag (of good quality) is ideal for holding all of the toys.
I deducted one star because the box in which the toys arrived was damaged, which is a problem since this is a gift. I can't say what a twelve-year-old thinks of them because the recipient hasn't received them yet:.
Puffer fish are a type of fish that does not sink. These are fantastic in general. So far, I've only played with the larger toys and not with the small coins and gems. The puffer fish is not a sinker. The speed at which the others sink varies, but they do not appear to be related to the listed weights. The'seaweed' would have been better if it had been made of plastic because the fabric gets wet and molds, but it's not a big deal for the price.
These pool toys are excellent for teaching young children how to dive and hold their breath. My three-year-old grandson can't get enough of their pool time. They're my favorite as well. The entire family will have a great time. br>Some of the rings have small weights that easily fall off and are difficult to replace. Apart from that, it's a fantastic product.
The white weights on the plastic discs won't stay on, and my pool sweep vacuums them up every day, so I only gave it four stars. But, putting those aside, there are a plethora of other excellent toys. Torpedoes, rings, and man-of-war-shaped toys are among my favorites!.
This is an excellent package! We only wanted diving rockets, but when we found this listing for the same price as just a few diving rocket toys but with a ton of other toys, it was well worth it! Our children are overjoyed.
