The nine-year-old grandson and his friend had a blast with it yesterday, but it didn't last more than an hour before it was ripped. The $100 price tag would have made me expect it to last longer.
We own a lot of slip n slides, but this is the best. There is a lot going on here! Our kids of all ages love the kite and play on it all the time. Ours is not indestructible of course, we've already had some holes appear, but it has definitely held up longer than the Our favorite feature about the sliding side panels is the yellow ribbon separating the two side panels with a water-clear line During the slide, we have a tube that sprays water on both sides. The whole thing stays wet all the way down. We have inflated the pool sides with both air and water, but the kids prefer the The slide is better held in place by this feature. It was reinforced for the stakes, but not very well, so the stakes had to be removed, but there is room for them to be reinserted. It does seem stronger, but it can still tear as well as any other slide. Overall we're very satisfied with it, but remember that it can still pull just like any other slide.
A few days after being used, the product tore in places where it connects to the ground. During the first day of heat, the plastic stretched out a bit and got a bit disfigured. Obtaining the previous slide on Amazon for 20 dollars only lasted a year, so we are replacing it with this second one. It could use a better grade of plastic for the pool at the end. It's a good size and a nice edition, but it just needs to look better.
I would not recommend this product since it did not last for the entire time. There is no point in spending the money on this. It is cheaply made and ruined within five times down the slide.
My family and I ordered this to BBQ on Memorial Day. I was looking forward to trying it out with the kids. All the instructions were well read, all the pieces were correctly positioned, and we were ready to let them play. My niece came over to inform us that it wasn't working anymore less than half an hour later. The spot where you hook up the hose was completely ripped open and the water was just running off the side and into the grass when I went over to check. After about two uses, the slide would not run down. I expected this wouldn't last long, but thought that for $100 it should at least last two. I didn't even get to sit through a half an hour of it. It was a disappointment.
Use was over within three hours of use.
off before it even had a chance to be I cannot connect the hose because there is a hole in the yellow line, so the water won't fill and spray out of the hole. That's a lot of money to spend on something that doesn't perform.
Using the raft was a risky activity for my 20lb daughter because I discovered it popped the third time. It's fine now, the slide is still working fine. But wait, I need to use two different garden hoses to get water on it because it only sprays at the end, near the pool, rather than the entire slide. Once again, this is fine with me. We found that all of the grommets holding the slide to the ground had ripped out on the third day. There is nothing to recommend about this slide for a price of $100, and it does not work.
