No, it will stay up even if they aren't there! I'm only going to use the stakes when we go to the beach!

It's one of my favorites. I was worried about keeping my 6 month old on the sun because it was so windy (!). ) but with the bag inside, it stayed nicely up, my 6mo was able to even have a nice nap there, and then my 3,5yo pushed herself in there and enjoyed nice shade with little sister, easy to fold (I practiced a couple of times before going to the beach as I don't want to embarrass myself with some extras) very handy and good looking too.

When we first tried to close it, the rods bent, and the roof caved in the next time we tried to use it. However, the first time we tried it, we were unable to keep the water in place.

We tried to use it on the beach with our 10-month-old daughter; it's very cute and appears to be of good quality; however, when the wind blows, the tent folds and falls on top of the baby, preventing her from staying inside; therefore, it was not at all useful, and we will return the product.

After looking at it for a while and reading the reviews, I decided to go for it, and I'm glad I did! I can't wait to take my daughter to the beach and put this to use! I snapped a few quick photos of it, but they're blurry, so I'm not going to share them until I get better ones. But it was well worth the money! I'm so glad I went ahead and did it. I was even able to fold it and put it back into the baggy without difficulty.

It does exactly what it says on the tin. I'm looking forward to taking it to the beach with me. For the price, it's very basic, but it works and keeps my son shaded, and it's simple to set up!.
