I'm not sure, but the size is slightly smaller than the standard size. Regardless, I like this ball; it feels good when shot. It doesn't appear to be as durable as other balls. a wise decision
It is not a miniature basketball, but it is a smaller version of a full-size basketball. However, it is of reasonable size. I'd say it's the size of a young person.

Until Stella, our German Shepherd, who has smashed a lot of pool balls over the years, figured out how to get her mouth around it. In a matter of seconds, it was completely deflated. However, if you don't have a big-mouthed beast near your pool, this ball is available for purchase. Although the cheaper plastic pool basketball setups and rims appear to be a little "hard," we have a heavy-duty backboard with a metal rim that works perfectly.
I wish I could write a positive review, but I'm unable to do so. I should have paid attention to the negative feedback. The air inside the ball is depleted. I went to Ollie's and purchased a basketball that was slightly smaller than a standard basketball. It is both less expensive and of higher quality. I'm not sure how this business got away with such a low-cost product. Make a financial plan. The only thing that makes this ball appealing is its color; otherwise, a less expensive (in terms of price) ball from Walmart or elsewhere will suffice.
The ball is already inflated in the photos. Of course, it was too cold to use the pool at the time I bought them, and I didn't own an inflator. The first was fantastic, but the second appeared to have a flaw. I wish I had gone to a nearby store where they were already inflated. As a result, money has been wasted.
It's still going strong after two summers of heavy use! It's not as big as a regular basketball, but it bounces well on concrete and is ideal for our poolside basketball hoop. Holds air well (we haven't had to add air other than at the beginning of each season, which is to be expected).
I bought two of these balls, and they're both losing air at an alarming rate. After a day, one becomes softer, while the other takes about two days to become soft. 3 days. In that time, there should be no loss of air; I've had these before and never had this issue. Boo!.
We have a variety of pool balls, but this is by far the most popular for poolside hoop shooting. It appears to have a long lifespan, but only time will tell.
This is, without a doubt, an excellent water basketball game. It looks and feels like a normal basektball, but it's been floating in the pool for months. There was no color fading or other degradation as a result of being in chlorinated water for so long. I would strongly suggest it.
