Depending on how big the four year old is I think she could play with it through at least 5 or maybe 6 years old. It is pretty durable as well I have only blown it up once since we got it and it is always being used, so it would depend on how big she is.

I receive a lot of positive feedback from my girls about Hours of fun have been had by all.
