The parachute is excellent and I It was awesome but the thing I would do differently if given the chance to do it all over again would be to go with the 8 or 10 or bigger size, because a 6 is just too small for holding the edge while inside and sitting on the edge of it when it is open. I'm sad, but I still think this is a good product! You won't find anything to complain about!.
She had so much fun doing these fun parachute games in her cheer class, and since she was in quarantine, I wanted to bring some of the cheer class fun home. When we opened it up to begin the fun, it was falling apart. It was torn. She loved the "mermaid pattern" in the middle. (I'm not sure if it was caused by shipping or packaging. So I tossed it because I don't want to deal with returns right now.
It isn't the strongest stitching to secure the handles in place. If you have 5 or 6 children holding the handles, these will not withstand the vigorous shaking that children do to them. To get the durability I would go with a more expensive one.
I had such a great time! Ideal for a socially distancing family activity in the backyard. Thinnish material but great quality and colors for the price. I could see where the handle might tear over time, but since we won't be using it every day, I'm willing to take that risk. A vibrant color palette does not just consist of plain, basic It is a big hit with my nephew, who is three years old! In addition to that, we love playing with it as well.
This parachutes differed from the nylon parachutes I have used in that there were no center holes, so when we wanted to catch the wind and create a dome, these parachutes did not perform as well as them. When the kids can go into and under the "dome", they find it the most fun.
This is an awesome device, but it is a little too massive when you order the largest size. Our kids bought it for their climbing dome and it's way too big. There is a large piece that hangs all over the floor and goes over the dome. If I had a choice, I'd choose a smaller house.
On the floor, my daughter uses it to match colors with other toys and to teach my granddaughter how to say colors in different languages. As in the more traditional use, her parents also hold up the sheet so that she can run and play under it.
The quality is excellent and the design is very nice.
