Is it necessary for me to have a water hose?

If you want the water to spray out of the hippos mouth, I believe you do, though I haven't tried it yet. I'll be setting it up for my daughter's birthday on Friday, but I'll need to buy a hose for it.

Is it all oxford or are there some pvc areas?

There isn't a single PVC pipe in sight.

It's very simple to set up. It fully inflates in 2 minutes. It only takes three minutes. Kids will love it. At the bottom, there's a pool section that I really like. That's where my two-year-old spends the majority of his time. The slide portion of the game is more enjoyable for older children (3 years old). Individually, he can only weigh 66 pounds. We're hoping to get a couple more summers out of this.

I adore the product, but it was obviously used (dirty and wet) when I received it. Patches, stakes, and instructions were all missing as well. But, to be honest, I still adore it.

This is a fantastic water slide. Today is the first time we've seen it. Inflating the balloon was a breeze. My kids and the rest of our neighborhood had a great time.
