While I appreciate that these are impossible to break, I'm not a fan of how hard they are to handle when he smacked my hand with the shovel. There are good and bad aspects of metal tools. This tool bag is made from nylon, which is extremely durable. Unlike some watering cans, this one does not have a removable lid. Only the end (where the water comes out) can be removed. The part doesn't come off clearly enough for my son to lose it, although it's not obvious that it goes missing. He could not have had a better fit! It is not necessary to use the wooden stakes. Random pointy objects (possibly thrown in the trash at the first opportunity) are likely to end up in the trash. His main interest in gardening is to dig in the dirt he doesn't really care about any other aspect of it. His only desire is to wear gloves like we do and to scoop dirt. We think this gardening set is terrific, and it does exactly what it's supposed to do! You are likely to get a lot of use out of this product if your kid enjoys getting dirty outside.
These are awesome for digging, especially with kids in the age range of 5 and up. Having their own gardening kit allows them to play an active role in the gardening process. As soon as my youngest gets a bit bigger, I will get him his own set. I would recommend starting at age 5 or 6 for little kids), but he loves to join in the fun under the proper supervision!.
Despite the fact that the gloves that came with it were all right-handed, this set was cute. I was so disappointed that my son was not able to put the gloves on.
However, he did get some enjoyment out of it.
This set of tools was nice and well made until one of them broke on my son of one year playing in soft dirt. I think it is cute, but I would only pay maybe $15 for it. There's no way that you can get it for that price now.
The cutest thing ever! This is what I got for my 19-month-old son for this spring, so he will feel like he is helping out with the gardening. Besides the watering can and the book, he loves the watering can. It looks like a good year for him in the garden.
Here are a few of them I ordered. will be kept by my daughter and one will be given These cute little guys are too cute for words. This will be a big hit with my daughter. It's nice that the kit comes with the bag to store it all in.
