What Nerf guns would be appropriate for a 5-year-old?

Well, my grandson is 8 and he has every Nerf gun on the market, so once he gets his Christmas present with the last two guns he doesn't have, I would say the smaller guns and NO rapid fire guns, but I would advise you to look on the package for the recommended age for each gun. I'd also recommend getting the Nerf mask for anyone he's playing with, as it's dangerous to have him play with someone who isn't wearing one because they could be shot in the eye. My grandson, age 8, and I, age 67, have Nerf gun battles, and I thought I'd be fine without one until I was accidentally shot in the eye, which isn't fun! As a result, make sure to teach him about safety. We now both wear one because we get a little crazy but have a great time! HAVE FUN!

Words Aren't Enough! Pictures Speak Louder Than Words! Are You Able To Tell The Difference? Is there a distinction between the two? We can't! They all have the same appearance, feel, and shoot! OUCH! The only criticism I have of this product is that the Nerf brand darts and these darts are vastly different

These have a lot more difficult tips than the Nerf ones. As a result, these darts have a much stronger sting than the Nerf darts. On par with a cheap airsoft gun or a mediocre paintball gun. I was accidentally hit in the eye, and it's still bothering me two days later. It didn't appear to make a difference which weapon we used. All of them have a similar level of venom.

Nerf darts aren't as soft as they used to be! I've always been hesitant to buy generic darts for our Nerf guns because so many reviews claim that they hit much harder (and I find that even genuine Nerf darts sting!)

However, because these were such a good deal and several reviews claimed they were as soft as the real thing, I decided to give them a try. I'm not sure if they're soft in comparison to other generic darts, but they're awful in comparison to the real thing. You can tell they're much harder just by touching the tip, and when they hit, they leave red spots (not sure if any of them will bruise). br>br>I gave them an extra star because they do what they're supposed to do, which is fit into Nerf guns and shoot properly, but I'm afraid I can't give them a good review because they hurt so much.

Excellent value for money

They function similarly to nerf darts and have soft tips similar to nerf darts. We haven't had any problems with these at all, and once they were mixed in with the other nerf darts, I couldn't tell the difference. I was hesitant to buy offbrand again because I bought some rip offs a few months ago that looked exactly like nerf ones only to find out the darts had hard plastic tips and left welps on my kids after being hit and actually really hurt. We were able to buy an extra gun for my boys with the money we saved on these darts:.

For our purposes, these bullets are superior to Nerf bullets

We bought these and 12 small guns for an after-party at our annual big Youth Service, where we threw them in a dark room with black lights and let the kids have a good time. We'd never had so much fun at an After Party before. It was a big hit with the kids. These bullets were actually more effective than the ones that came with the gun because they did not fire as quickly and caused less pain. When a child fired a bullet that came with the gun versus one of these, it was easy to tell the difference. This may be off-putting to some, but it worked perfectly for us!.

Darts that are great sting slightly more than darts that are elite

These darts are great for older kids and adults, but be aware that they hurt a little more than the nerf elite darts. This isn't a big deal for most people, but the wife and kids say they sting a little, so I ordered some waffle tipped darts from ekind.

He had a lot of them, but I was sick of picking them up so he could shoot them again! NOW he can keep shooting while I sit back and enjoy it! Bullets are always in short supply. He'll never be able to stock up on bullets! They're also quite good! .

Saweeet! These are incredible! I bought our nerf guns for family fun, but I quickly realized that our siamese cat is also a siamese retriever, and when he hears the guns being loaded, he's off like a shot down the halls, up the stairs, retrieving and dropping and going again and again

What a blast! Others have mentioned that they aren't as "soft" as original nerf bullets. True, but these babies take off! They're a little hard to hit and will leave a mark if you aim for exposed skin. . . so keep that in mind.
