Magic markers that are permanent. Years ago, I used to spend my time playing with my elderly mother's neighbors. Because they couldn't tell the yellow tiles apart, they used a green magic marker to cover them up. A Sharpie is most likely to blame. Years later, it was still there. Keep painting with a Sharpie or a magic marker if the colors on yours start to fade.

Selected User Reviews For Rummikub - Classic Edition - The Original Rummy Tile Game by Pressman
The set is abominable. Rummikub is a game that I enjoy playing. The numbers on the last set had finally been rubbed off. It's time for a new one. After reading the reviews, I made the decision to stick with "the original. " It turns out that it isn't the genuine article. The orange colors were swapped with the color in my set. If that appears to you to be blank, it appears to me to be blank as well. The yellow numbers are extremely difficult to see. br>br>It appears that people had difficulty distinguishing the orange from the red in the orange/red set. At the very least, I was able to decipher the figures. It's simple to choose a color that's both visible and readable in 2018. Instead, the company simply painted it a light yellow that is barely visible. And I'm not mixing it up with the red anymore! I'm only able to see a small portion of it. It's a real pity. br>br>If you're over 50, you're probably as blind as I am to Rummikub yellow numbers. Who is in charge of this business? br>br>.
Playing the game with my family is a lot of fun. I just got the game for a friend. We can't see the numbers on the new game's yellow tiles because they're so light. To express my dissatisfaction, I contacted the company. I'm unable to return the game because the tiles were obtained by tearing open a plastic bag. "Yes, we recently changed the color to yellow, and many people have complained," they said. " They recommended that I get the large tiles because the yellow is a little darker. I'm not interested in purchasing any additional games. The game will not be returned or replaced. I don't think it's worth your money to buy the game.
The game is fantastic, but the content is woefully inadequate. Every version, including the deluxe and large number editions, should include a drawstring bag so you don't have to fight shuffling the tiles and flipping them all over on the table. Simply place the tiles in a bag, shake it up, and have players draw a tile blindly from the bag whenever they require one.
We bought Rummikub in July and noticed that the red and green paint on the tiles was peeling off by September. It's now to the point where some of the red numbers are nearly unreadable. We wrote a letter to the company because we were old school, but it seemed to go unnoticed. After a light bulb went off between our ears, we decided that everyone should be aware of our problem. It doesn't seem fair to give it one star because the game will be obsolete in a few weeks.
We didn't have any tiles with light yellow numbers in the first games we played. The numbers in yellow on a white tile are barely visible, making it extremely difficult to read and play. We're all in agreement that it's terrible! Those tiles used to be orange, which made them a lot easier to see. So, what went wrong? Is there anyone who actually plays this game who can verify the color change?.
It's one of my all-time favorite games! The goal is to get rid of all of your pieces by forming sets of sequential numbers or three-digit numbers. If you have 4 of a kind (1,2,3,4 or 3,3,3,3), you can add to the existing sets on the table laid out by other players as long as the sets remain intact. If you have the following sets on the table, for example: br>br>1,2,3,4br>7,7,7,7br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>and you want to get rid of the following chips (5,6)br>br>b br>br>1,2,3br>4,5,6,7br>7,7,7br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b br>br>Also, for the price, this version of the game is excellent; I have the larger set, old school style, and I don't care for how heavy the chips are. These are my favorite because they are quieter and lighter, making them easier to transport. br>br>Excellent value for money and a great time!.
It's extremely aggravating to be on the verge of having a fantastic game. I'm not sure why the publisher decided to sell an unusable version of the game. It demonstrates the company's lack of concern for producing a high-quality product, or it could simply be a case of corporate greed. The yellow tiles are indistinguishable from each other. It is unquestionably a deterrent to playing the game. Or, for that matter, possessing it. br>The purpose of purchasing games is to have unrestricted enjoyment. This version isn't as entertaining as the original.
It not only brings the family together without the use of technology, but it also helps to keep your mind sharp! I'm approaching fifty, and games like this one that keep my mind active while also making me laugh and smile are wonderful! We also purchased one of the larger tiled ones, which was a lot of fun! My granddaughter enjoys it so much while she is here that she has requested one for her family to play at their home for Christmas! If you haven't already done so, I recommend that you do so. You'll love it if you buy it. At Nana's House, this is without a doubt one of the most popular games!.
