This is the fifth puzzle that my grandmother and I have worked on together over the summer. br>br>Because we've been on a Ravensburger kick, I was hesitant to try other brands, but some of them were too difficult for our needs. I was worried after finishing the edges because I had to leave town and didn't want to leave her with anything too difficult, but she's been doing fantastic. Before I left, I organized all of the pieces by color. br>br>The pieces are well-made and durable. They don't quite fit together as well as Ravensburger, but then again, nothing does! The vibrant colors appeal to both of us.
This puzzle was a lot of fun for me! It wasn't particularly difficult, but it did take some time (which is exactly what I want). The colors were bright and vibrant. When it was finished, everyone adored it! br>I gave this puzzle four stars because some of the pieces were peeling or separating. It's not a big deal, but it made me nervous because I didn't want to rip the top layer (the colored layer) off. When I received the puzzle, some of the pieces had bent. All of the pieces, however, were found to be in working order. For the price, it was of decent quality. br>If you're looking for a decent quality puzzle, this is the one to get. This is a good one to have if you only use it once in a while. If you're looking for something extremely durable, this isn't the best option.
Galison puzzles are a favorite of mine. br>Their puzzles are incredibly colorful, but it's the subtle shading that makes them so difficult. Galison makes the majority of my puzzles, and I'm currently waiting for a new one. I can't wait for it to arrive on Saturday! br>br>I've been held captive by COVID for nearly a year. To keep myself occupied, I must constantly seek out new interests. I'm fortunate in that I have Galison puzzles. They will, however, need to increase their number of employees in the near future.
We enjoyed the puzzle, but were disappointed when we got to the end and discovered that one piece was duplicated and another was missing. What a waste of time when you don't have the missing piece to complete the puzzle!.
I'm the kind of person who enjoys doing a jigsaw puzzle every day, so this 500-piece puzzle was ideal for me. This puzzle took me an hour to complete, was easy to look at, difficult in a couple of spots, but overall enjoyable and relaxing. The pieces aren't of high enough quality to last a long time, and many of mine already had cardboard spilting and peeling from the manufacturing process. I was going to give it four stars, but the price is so low that it's worth five. Just keep in mind that this isn't a puzzle you can do over and over again. Otherwise, the image quality is excellent, and the pieces lock together so that when you're finished, you can almost lift the entire image up. You can't go wrong with the price; it's not high-end quality, but it's also not dollar store.
The image is stunning. This is also simpler and more suitable for children than I had anticipated - My five and ten-year-old children became involved, and they were able to progress without my assistance. We were about halfway done in less than two hours - I expected it to be more difficult (and therefore take longer) than that. I enjoy the meditative aspect of it, so speed isn't a plus) but it's so beautiful that I don't mind.
It takes about 2 to 3 hours to put together, so it's not overly complicated, and the way the colors swirl together and the contrast of one popsicle with the melted remains of another nearby is actually quite fascinating. It's simple enough that you won't feel bad if your child breaks it, and colorful enough that they'll want to help reassemble it over and over.
I got a couple of days of enjoyment out of it, but the best part was that my grandchildren enjoyed it as well and were able to assist. The fact that this particular puzzle's pieces are all of similar shapes aided them. Sorting was simple thanks to the bright colors. (They are nine and six years old, respectively. ).
