Buffalo Games - Aimee Stewart - Yard Sale - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle, Multi

ALARM CREATED IN THE WRONG WAY! I originally gave it one star because there was a missing piece. My husband, it turns out, thought it would be amusing to HIDE A PIECE! Then, when I finished the puzzle and wrote the review, he wasn't home. Keeping the puzzle together. br>br> I'm attempting to determine whether or not I am able to reclaim my husband. br>br>Review of the first edition. After putting it all together, I discovered that one piece was missing. For the past half hour, I've been searching my puzzle-making area for it, but I haven't found it. It's a real pain.

I'm a jigsaw puzzle addict who works on 500 to 2,000 piece puzzles at a time, and I especially enjoy Buffalo Game puzzles because of their sturdy pieces, vibrant colors, and intriguing themes. I've already finished their Cat series and have worked on a number of Aimee Stewart puzzles. Because of the many items in the picture, I thought the "Yard Sale" puzzle would be difficult, but it turned out to be much easier than I had anticipated and a lot of fun to look at. Most of my puzzles are given away, but this one is kept! Because I've bought so many Buffalo puzzles, I'm aware that the pieces were once sealed in a bag before being placed in the box. However, the pieces in at least three of the puzzles I recently purchased were not bagged and were only loosely stored in the box. This bothers me because the last Buffalo puzzle I bought at a big box store a month ago came with loose pieces and was extremely difficult to open (the top felt like it was Super-glued shut). A piece was missing (it had been glued together). This made me wonder if it was a re-release. The puzzle was sold. Jigsaw puzzles have become quite costly in recent years, and I wouldn't want to buy one that has been used. So I'll be on the lookout for Buffalo puzzles and stick with Ravensburger, White Mountain, Clementoni, and Eurographics, which not only bag their pieces but also shrink wrap the box. A Buffalo Games puzzle, on the other hand, is something I'd recommend.

My husband and I are both trying to recover from colds, so we spent yesterday inside, resting. In a single day, we were able to put together Yard Sale. But it was a lot of fun, and we had a great time. br>br>Everything is in place. There are no pieces that are warped; The cardboard did not separate from the photo, so there were no pieces. The poster, which we, with our old eyes, consider mandatory, is the best of all. br>br>I highly recommend this puzzle, as well as Aimee Steward's other puzzles, particularly the New York and Paris puzzles. I wish she still had her Las Vegas puzzle.

I had planned to never buy another puzzle from this brand after my previous bad experience, but I decided to take a chance on this one because I liked the picture. I'm not going to make the same mistake twice. This company's quality control issues persist, and I enjoyed it until the very end, when I discovered that one piece was missing and a piece from a different puzzle had been included. It's aggravating to look for a piece over and over and never find it, or to try to figure out where the piece in your hand belongs in the puzzle picture but never find it. It is too late to return this, so it will be thrown away.

I also appreciated the fact that it came with a printout of the image on a small poster-size piece so I could see it more clearly. It was extremely beneficial. Buffalo Games has come through once again.

Several pieces "nearly" fit. The flag banner on the roof line "almost" matched the color scheme. I thought I'd gotten a faulty puzzle at one point. But, after a little more thought, I realized, as I always do when I question why my bank statements aren't balancing, that it wasn't the puzzle manufacturer's (or bank's) fault, but mine! I ended up having to redo a portion of the puzzle, with a satisfying end result! Also included is a fun puzzle for those who are missing our yard sales due to the pandemic.

REVIEW WAS UPDATED: I contacted the manufacturer's customer service (rather than Amazon's). They let me choose from a limited number of replacement puzzles. And- WHAT DO YOU THINK THIS IS? Several edge pieces are missing, and there are several extra or duplicate pieces in this puzzle. There are numerous 5-star hotels. On Amazon, there are five-star reviews, but not mine! Perhaps the lack of covid workers is to blame for the poor quality control? REVIEW AT THE TIME OF PUBLISHING: Poor quality control and a horrible puzzle. Pieces that have been cut incorrectly Pieces with a misaligned image. Ends of pieces are cut off due to double cutting. When you buy a puzzle a few weeks before a birthday, give it as a gift, and the recipient doesn't build it until a few weeks after their birthday, you've missed the return window. It was an absolute waste of money.

There was an extra, identical piece in the puzzle that didn't fit. We've had missing puzzle pieces before, but we were able to locate them behind a box, under a chair. But there were two missing pieces in this case, one of which was found in a suitcase. The suitcase was small and contained items, allowing you to see how well the rest of the puzzle fit together. The extra piece was the same as one in the suitcase, but it didn't fit anywhere else in the puzzle. It appears that a few puzzles were returned to the seller, mixed up a little, and then repackaged and resold. I'm very upset about this, and even though we've had good experiences with Buffalo Puzzles in the past, I'd be hesitant to buy another one from them.
