She was given this as a gift when she was 10 years old. It was her Christmas wish to receive this and she was delighted to discover that it had been granted. The entire time we spent together (over a few days), she played with it. The price seemed a bit high, but it seems to be made well, so time will tell how durable it will be. The girl wants to take classes in ventriloquism now. She was happy when she saw the puppet, so I was happy as well.
I didn't find it easy to move the mouth as easy as it was on my old computer. You move the bottom jaw a lot, when the puppet speaks, when you learn how to deal with ventriloquists and puppeteers. With a puppet like this, I would expect it to be simple to maneuver the bottom jaw. However, it wasn't quite as easy as I thought it would be, and it could just be my lack of experience.
A second one would allow both of my daughters to play at the same time. Playing with imagination is a lot of fun!.
As my son broke his jaw, so that he could practice his ventriloquism, I think it would be a great gift if he had a girlfriend. Our family is not an avid doll collector or ventriloquist, but she served her purpose and has held up well over the few months that we have been joking around.
I bought this book for my 8yr old daughter and she loves.
I enjoyed watching my granddaughter play with her Cindy doll and watching her entertain us when she was younger.
Made very well, she is so fun to have around, and she makes a great Although she is VERY fragile, and quite droopy when you're not holding her, she is also extremely droopy when she's not being held. So, handle her gently and with care.
