Because I have four children ranging in age from toddler to adolescent, everything in our house is put to the test. Even if something is intended for younger or older children, they all seem to want to try it out. br>br>This toy set is intended for children aged 3 and up. I've worked with children as young as one year old. It's being used by two people who are having a lot of fun with it. in addition to tweens The tweens aren't crazy about it like they are about painting their nails or anything, but they have had a lot of fun playing with the younger kids with it. br>br>The kit includes a variety of screws. The nuts, as well as the other building pieces, come in a variety of colors. br>br>It's been wonderful to hear our toddler request items based on color without being asked what color they are. He does things at his own pace, so he'll act as if he has no idea what we're asking of him. Then he'll say something we've been pleading with him to say for months. br>br>The same goes for this collection. br>br>Colors, shapes, and other concepts have been taught. He will occasionally, but not always, point out the proper shapes, colors, and so on. He now asks for things based on COLOR when he plays with this set. He's also requesting things through SHAPE more frequently now. br>br>Our older children (preschool, elementary school, etc. ) have been having a lot of fun making free-form structures. The toddlers, on the other hand, are more likely to screw things onto the base/travel case frame. br>br>The toddler has a habit of hogging the "drill. " The drill screws make a lot of noise, which he enjoys. Simply push the lever on the top or bottom to unscrew it. Even a toddler can do it. br>br>A wrench is also included. Screwdriver handle with a screw head bit that slides into the handle. br>The screws can also be installed by hand, using other brands of our play tools or even a real screwdriver with a large tip that won't chew up the screw head. We've had four days with four people. At any given time, there could be up to 5 children playing with this set. There isn't any wailing for fragments. They're all working on something different. It's nice that a creation can be made without using all of the kit's pieces, because that's when kids start arguing about which pieces they need, and we don't need or want any arguing. br>br>My plan was to use it while doing schoolwork to keep the toddler entertained. It keeps the younger kids occupied, but they've begged me to play with it every day since we got it, so I haven't put it away to be used only on special occasions. br>br>The carrying/storage case comes in handy. I really like that it has a building board on the back, because it's that building board that allows this set to be used by even the tiniest members of the family. The case tabs stay closed, are STRONG, and can withstand a lot of wear and tear. Despite this, it is simple to open. This is an excellent set for keeping children occupied. br>br> While they are constructing their own creations together, they are also learning. br>br>It's a big hit with the kids. We are delighted to see them engaged in activities other than watching television. br>br>I WOULD REPEAT THE PURCHASE OF THIS SET!.
It's a big hit with the 5-year-old. This is a fantastic toy! It provides hours of entertainment for my 5-year-old son, as well as his 12-year-old brother. br>I was on the lookout for a toy that was both entertaining and educational. ,br>I was sold after reading the reviews, and it far exceeded my expectations. At $20, this is an incredible deal! There's no limit to what you can come up with! br>Every piece is strong and long-lasting. quality. br>I particularly like the practical suitcase, which is both durable and simple to open and close. It's also transparent, which is a fantastic feature! br>The tools, particularly the drill, are the ideal size for small hands, as well as being lightweight and comfortable to use. br>The instruction booklet is well-written and illustrated with vibrant colors. And, to top it off, it was presented in a lovely manner. What a great gift idea! This will be my go-to brand for future family gifts for both boys and girls. This purchase has exceeded my expectations!.
There are a lot of small pieces, so keep that in mind if you have younger children who like to grab things and put them in their mouth (we keep the kit packed away and only let our daughter use it when we're around to supervise). She has always enjoyed putting things together. The set includes a variety of ideas for putting together various items, but I can see this being particularly useful for older children who want to design and build things without being given any specific instructions. The drill is powered by a battery and uses plastic screws to fasten various components together. It performs admirably. Because all of the parts are plastic, I wouldn't expect it to last indefinitely, but it should last long enough for our daughter to enjoy and engineer it for a few years at the very least. The purchase was a great success.
This building set is great because it fits everything inside the carrying case, which also serves as a tool table. My two children, ages 2 and 6, can both use the automatic drill and the manual screwdriver to play with this toy. My six-year-old has almost completed all of the shapes in the booklet after easily following the directions. It also enables them to create their own works of art. My two-year-old is primarily interested in screwing the screws into the holes. This has been a fantastic toy to go along with their tool table.
I really like the concept of this toy, and I bought it for my 3-year-old son, who has been playing with a work bench since he was able to stand, and I knew he'd enjoy the screw driver. He can't use it because it's too old. The screw driver is battery-operated and functions like a real one, but he needs to get the end into the small slot in order for it to work, which is impossible without assistance. He doesn't realize he has to keep it there, either. I'm sure he'll grow into it and love it in time, but for the recommended age, I was disappointed.
This was purchased for my 3-and-a-half-year-old son. It's a hit with my six-year-old grandson. The pieces are sturdy, and the drill fits comfortably in his small hands. When you open the box, be aware that all of the small nuts, bolts, screws, and other components are individually packaged, which is great, but you'll need something to store them in. I made the muffins in a muffin pan, which worked well.
My son, who is almost three years old, enjoys playing with this toy. We've built and dismantled a lot of things. I'm hoping it'll be a toy that will grow with him and that he will enjoy for many years.
This is a fantastic toy for stimulating the mind. My grandson, who is almost six, enjoyed having "tools" to play with. br>It kept him occupied for a while!br>It might be difficult for a three-year-old to learn, but it's certainly better than learning to play video games!.
