Questions & Answers

Is it true that they are without lead?

I'm not sure. I tossed the box in the trash. Aside from that, I'd like to ask you a question. This could be the last time I use it. Without pressing any buttons, the car noises began to occur on their own. It appeared to be a sign of low batteries at first, but it also happened with new batteries. That resulted in an unusual nighttime awakening to the sound of my children's keys. Anyway, let's get back to the lead-free situation. not sure.

I'm concerned that my toddler will find an open outlet. Is it possible that the metal tips would be too large to fit into an electrical outlet?

It's way too big to fit in there. I just did a test run to see if it would work.

Is it possible to detach the keys from the fob?

Never in a million years did I consider giving it a shot. My granddaughter, on the other hand, is two years old and very curious, and she hasn't taken them off since she received the keys. The keys are said to be made of stainless steel and to be safe for curious mouths.

As my son chews on everything, will they be able to chip a tooth on the stainless steel?

I suppose it could chip a tooth because they are firm and not made of soft silicone or plastic.

It astounds me that so many people enjoy this
3/5

VERY LOUD, WITHOUT AN OFF BUTTON! I'm surprised this has such a high rating. There is no way to turn off the noises, and there is no way to turn them off. If it's in a diaper bag, it'll get banged around and occasionally make extremely loud car noises. The sound of the engine starting is particularly obnoxious and irritating. If we keep it, I'll have to cover the speaker with tape or something similar to muffle it so it doesn't bother anyone else. How is it possible that there isn't an off button as well? It's also quite heavy, so if my baby starts throwing it around and hits herself or someone else, it'll hurt. This hasn't gone over well with me. The only saving grace is that the keys are made of metal, which my child enjoys chewing on.

Your baby will be much more engaged! I only buy a B on rare occasions
5/5

I was disappointed with the Toys product. The materials are of the highest quality, and the designs are always well-thought-out. They include all of the features you want and leave out the ones you won't use. Too many toys today add features purely for the sake of adding them, with no real value or interest added to the toy. In this case, that is not the case. There's also a small flashlight button, in addition to a few buttons that make fun car sounds. Metal keys, which I believe are more likely to pique the interest of a baby who only wants their parents' REAL keys. br>br>The Bottom Line: Don't bother with Fisher Price. Toys are the place to be.

You've come to the right place if you're looking for realistic toy keys
5/5

If your child is looking at this toy, he or she, like my two-year-old, is probably obsessed with your keys! I don't think he should be allowed to play with them. They may not only become disoriented, but he has a habit of pressing the panic button and/or unlocking my car without my knowledge. I'm sure you've experienced something similar. We tried a few different sets of toy keys, but none of them were convincing enough to hold his attention. Until these arrive! Because the keys are metal and the buttons make interesting noises, it's close enough to the real thing to make him happy. He repeatedly snatches these keys. It's a popular choice for long car trips. (As does my son) I really like the new flashlight feature!.

Use your own keys instead of buying expensive ones
3/5

My daughter adores my set of keys, so I went on the hunt for a replacement. I'll admit that these are the closest thing I could find to real keys, but I don't think the price is justified for the quality of the product; it appears to be cheaply made, easily scratched if left outside, and I left the batteries out because the noise it makes is unbearable. I wouldn't even touch it without it making a lot of noise, so that was a big no for me. These aren't designed to be chewed on. If someone were to ask me if I recommend these, I would tell them to save their money and give them the real keys. br>br>Also, I'm not sure why the purple set of keys costs $15 while the red set costs $30 when there's no difference between the two. Although red is a more popular color, babies aren't aware of the distinction, and the purple set is a neutral color in any case.

It's of good quality, but the keys are too large to fit in
5/5

These are fantastic keys. They are a big hit with my son. They're a little bigger than I expected, but that's fine; the quality is good, and the keys are large enough that they won't fit into outlet plugs, which is ideal. I recommend them to children who enjoy playing with car keys.

Make a financial plan
3/5

I was disappointed when I received these in the mail, but I'm hoping that my 2-year-old nephew, who has recently become obsessed with playing with our keys, will enjoy them. br>br>The key fob is quite large, perhaps around 4-inches in diameter. The keys that dangle from the keyring are made of metal, making them a little heavy but realistic. br>br>Aside from the size, the main disadvantage is the sound quality. Some reviews claim that this device is loud, but the one I received is quite quiet, to the point where you can barely hear it, which may be a good thing. A small yellow button with a car icon sounds like a muffled radio or a muffled scream when pressed. br>br>When you click on the large orange button with the lightbulb, nothing happens, and the green button, which is similar to the yellow one, sounds like a muffled fire engine mixed with a honking goose. br>br>I would say that paying $16 for this toy is a waste of money. Given the price, I was expecting a higher-quality toy car key. . . I'll wait to see how my nephew reacts to this toy, and if he doesn't like it, I'll return it.

As if they were your parents' keys! I was crossing my fingers that these keys would be a success, but I had no idea how big of a success they would be! They're just toy keys that make noise, and there are a plethora of similar products on the market
5/5

But these keys must be played with by every child who has come over! They are enamored with them and believe they are genuine! And the sounds it makes aren't like those of a cutesy toy, but rather realistic! When my boyfriend went to get his keys from the diaper bag, he mistakenly grabbed these! As a result, they are able to deceive not only children but also adults! I'm glad I took a chance on these for my daughter; they've become a go-to toy for her for quite some time!.
