Hello, Megan, these cooking tools are almost adult-sized and built to last; would he require his own? My granddaughter has a pretend kitchen that is probably more well-equipped than her mother's. I hope this has been of assistance.

All of these things are too big to fit in the bowl.

appropriate and adorable cooking set for real cooking in the kitchen with Mom or Dad, whoever is the chef de cuisine! The apron is a little big for my 4-year-old, but it's fully adjustable. The back of the whimsical professional chef hat is adjustable by velcro. This will be used in the kitchen and for art sessions for years to come! The rolling pin and mixing bowl are both made of heavy, high-quality stainless steel. Any chef would be proud of this! I'm at a loss for words. LOVE IT!.
