My daughters' computers stopped working, and I hoped it was due to a faulty battery. I tried replacing the battery, but it didn't work. I wrote a review saying that it was a cool item that didn't work after the battery was changed. I received an email in response to my review, and I sent them information about the board; I received a new replacement, and I returned the old one. This one has been working for a few weeks now and has been very helpful.
When dropped, it doesn't break. It has a long lifespan.
It should be possible for a two-year-old prodigy to complete it.
It only lasted about 5 days after I bought it. I replaced the battery and it still only works 1/4 of the time; I would return it and receive a refund!

This is a terrible product that worked for a day before refusing to erase. It's ridiculous that it's not better made for the amount of money it cost.
I purchased two of these, one for a five-year-old and the other for a two-year-old. I was surprised to find that the drawing area was a little smaller than I had anticipated. The two-year-old figured out how to use the various "pens" and erase fairly quickly. The way the "pens" attach to each corner is really nice. They're snug enough to keep them from falling off, but not so tight that a two-year-old can't get them on and off. Overall, I'm happy with them, and the girls seem to like them as well. However, due to the limited space for her drawings, I believe the 5-year-old will become bored with it quickly. It is, however, ideal for teaching a two-year-old how to draw scribbles.
I was relieved to discover that this toy is made of sturdy, solid materials and can withstand being tossed around. I gave it a one-star rating because, based on the photos, I expected a brighter display on the board. The colors that were revealed could have been a lot more vibrant!.
It will not erase after I open it to play with it before giving it to her for Christmas. I'm not sure if it's a short in the erase button or if it's a dead battery because I just opened the package. The boogie board cost $21 when new and now costs $30, which is a lot of money for a toy that doesn't work. I'll see what I can do about returning this as soon as possible.
It's a hit with my toddler, and my husband can't get enough of it! I like how you can draw with four different pencils for various effects. Also useful for children who have misplaced one but still have the others. My only gripe is with the product's quality. It was a Christmas present, and we took good care of it for the first week and a half it worked, after which it simply stopped working. We were in a bad mood. I'm going to have to give it back.
These were purchased for my seven and five-year-old children. They adore the rainbow colors you use when you write or draw. The fact that there were so many different drawing tools was a plus! My five-year-old keeps it in his car, and we practice writing his sight words together. My seven-year-old son creates drawings and composes sentences.
The first one we got worked for a little over an hour before it stopped working. I returned it and received a replacement, which is much better. I'm hoping it keeps working for you. It's a big hit with my 3-year-old.
I wish I had spent the extra money on this one from the start! Colors that pop and are simple to see. The four writing styluses are chunky and fit nicely on the board; I wish I could attach them to the board with a string or something, but they are large enough that I always manage to find them. I would strongly suggest it!.
